When my ex-wife delayed signing the simple waiver and eventually retained her own counsel, my lawyer completely vanished. He refused to schedule a call with her attorney, leaving me stranded and stressed. I constantly had to deal with his paralegal, who only provided sparse, unhelpful answers. Marble's Complete Lack of Accountability: To make matters worse, the attorney marked my case as "closed" without setting up the next phase or finishing the job, effectively abandoning me while remaining the retained lawyer of record.
