He aggravated it while lifting heavy objects and could not place any pressure on his left leg, which prevented him from many actions including getting out of bed and severely impacted our daily quality of life. Dr. Zeng's acupuncture treatment made a significant impact starting from the first session, diminishing his pain on a scale of 10 from an 8 to a 3, which allowed him to move around more freely, rise up from a bed or chair, and picking up light objects on the ground. Subsequent followup sessions a week and two later saw the pain completely vanish, restoring quality of life. In addition to his highly effective treatment, what sets Dr. Zeng apart is his comprehensive and holistic approach to medical care. He not only addresses your current ailment, but he gives you the knowledge and techniques to prevent both the class of related ailements as well as re-aggrevation of the issue, saving you from future pain and time/money lost. His connection between posture and back pain was enlightening, and his education of exercises to correct the posture imbalance shows true care and compassion for you as his patient. Also, it is clear that Dr. Zeng masters the effective use of both Chinese and Western Medicine treatments and techniques, and combines them both to achieve greater results than either alone. One noteworthy aspect of our experience with Dr. Zeng was his kindness and flexibility. Despite not having an appointment, Dr. Zeng graciously accommodated my husband's walk-in need for treatment and exhibited true compassion. Many professionals would have declined without an appointment. In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Zeng to our friends, family, and anyone seeking care for soreness/pain. His efficacy, dedication to patient well-being, and compassion makes him a standout. We are grateful for the miracle Dr. Zeng has had on my husband and our quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Zeng, for your outstanding service.

I've had chronic, acute low back pain for over 10 years. I've tried pretty much everything short of…read moresurgery. I started going to Robert Weinstein 3 months ago. My back pain has improved by 95%! I was able to eliminate the mega-doses of Tylenol I was taking for pain. I've also been working with Robert on incorporating some herbal remedies to help with my asthma and hay fever. I've been able to reduce the usage of a cortico-steroid inhaler I take for asthma, and have reduced the dosage of some other medications I use for my upper respiratory allergies. From a woman's perspective, I have always found Robert's demeanor to be respectful, gentle, and professional at all times. I feel very comfortable with him. He listens when I describe my symptoms and is never dismissive. When I had a setback early on in my treatment, I could tell he was frustrated, but it wasn't directed at me. I think he was more frustrated that the treatment itself wasn't working in that particular instance. We talked about it, and agreed to incorporate moxa into the treatment. It's been very successful. My recovery has been of the "2 steps forward/1 step back" variety, but overall I've been very pleased with my progress. I'm so grateful to Robert for helping me resolve my long-term chronic back pain!

Robert Weinstein is thoroughly unprofessional in his behavior and in his communication. For…read moreexample, as I was laying face down on the treatment table, he unhooked my bra (instead of simply asking me to take off my bra before he came in, as every other professional working on my back has done), which is both inappropriate and invasive. Additionally, instead of getting consent for this, he says, "And now I'll unhook your bra..." This is just creepy, for lack of a better word. As for communication difficulties, he was arrogant and rude to me when I told him his professional recommendations are not compatible with my lifestyle - I was interested in working out some type of alternative treatment plan, but instead he became defensive, rude, and acted as if I didn't care about my own health. His bedside manner is horrific, and he appears so arrogant that it took me aback. I am a paying customer, and his actions (and even his words in his new patient documents) show that he truly believes his time is more valuable and more important than his clients' time. Very, very, very disappointed. This is the worst experience I've had with a medical "professional." I originally came to him for help with my back pain because of his glowing reviews. My back pain did not improve, and I later found out through a friend who saw him for a brief period of time that he practically harasses his clients to write Yelp reviews for this practice. Such bad practice, but at least I understand where all of these positive reviews are coming from. Who wants to write a bad review for someone who is sticking needles in their body? Do not go here. RUN the other way.

I am an internationally touring musician, and my body takes a battering. I see her to receive what I call 'tune-ups', and after every treatment, I feel fantastic, whole, and restored. Through the years, she has eliminated the searing pain of sciatica, chronic neck pain (I am a saxophonist), gastrointestinal problems, has applied light electrical treatment to relieve obstinately tight shoulder muscles, and her cupping technique is perfect to pull out any residual tension in my back and shoulders. Most recently, I went in for 'Women's Toning Treatment', which included facial acupuncture. I left her studio feeling balanced, energized, and my face felt open, refreshed; I am 50 years old, and the lines I have developed had all but disappeared. I cannot recommend her more highly!

I'd come to accept that this pain was to be a part of my life and that I'd just have to miss work (and fun!) every so often due to the pain of a strained muscle that would keep me from being able to hold up my head. Friends advised acupuncture and luckily one of them recommended Lesli. From the very first visit, I knew she was something special. Not only has she helped my neck and shoulders (no more pulled muscles!), she's helped me get better sleep and have more energy, and the information she has shared with me has steadily increased my understanding of the connection between my mental, emotional, and physical worlds.
