Apply the usual caveats about how expensive Stavanger is. The food here is pretty good, but can use some more seasoning. We loved the British cider. The Norwegian pear cider was a little too sweet for our taste, but then the server had warned us of as much. My lamb shank was tender and the garlic mashed potatoes were pretty good. The service was really good including the server's willingness to put in an order for the linguine with shellfish that my husband wanted; it was on the menu outside, but not on the reduced Sunday menu we got when we sat down.
