They have plenty of vegan options which is great but I chose the vegan boneless wings which I ordered over the phone which to me were very chewy and dry even with the sauce ... I wish they used another faux meat ... my real issue is with honesty. If you pay your employees under the table or want to make your business seem like its not thriving then thats on YOU. But when a customer wants to use their debit card and you tell them "we take Cash only but we have an ATM" ... then you arent being honest now are you??? Me personally, I drove my car to my nearest bank (it was literally across the street) to cash out rather than pay $3 to an ATM. When I got back they decided to tell me "oh we could have taken your card" they pretty much tried to strong arm me into giving them cash or using the atm then gave up when I returned with cash. If you have payment options then offer a customer options ... they should have stuck to their lie and just accepted my cash once i returned without mentioning they would take debit (it only took me 5 minutes to leave and come back but still) cause now i feel like they wasted my time and energy. read more

Soo, we went to check this place out since we never heard of it before. We were a little skeptical about what kind of clientele would be inside, if they're welcoming etc.. but we were pleasantly surprised! All of the staff here are very friendly, they ALL take care of you one way or another and the food is DELISH!! Drinks are reasonably priced and our server Kathleen was a sweetheart! She was very willing to answer any questions about the menu and offered some advice on what's good(practically everything btw). I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu! Sat outside before heading to a Phillies game on a Saturday. The service was friendly, comical, and slow. The beverage delivery was tolerable. But the food delivery was terrible. Over and hour for a pizza. Jokes were made to lighten the situation but unfortunately it made the overall experience undesirable. I thought everything was reasonably priced. It will be my new pre/post game home. From Lancaster Co. but South Philly can be a lot of fun. Stopped in for a beer and sandwich with wife prior to a Sixers game. Unfortunately, bartender avoided us for the most part and attended to his "regulars". After waiting 30 minutes for a pork sandwich, I asked bartender if order was almost ready since we were leaving soon to attend game. He said there was a problem with the ordering machine and seemed to have no recollection of the order. I ordered a second draft and he handed me a half glass of beer since keg was tapped. The sandwich finally arrived about an hour after the order. Following week we ate and drank at Chickie and Petes and were greeted with a much warmer reception along with excellent food! read more

Took the family (3 kids) here before a Wings game. Good old-school vibe, friendly service, and tasty food. I recommend the wings, pizza, bbq fries, and crab fries. The mussels (white sauce) were not good. The sauce just had no flavor...Solid beer list...overall, I would recommend this place for before/after a game. read more

Prior to traveling to Philadelphia for the Army/Navy game I inquired on a Philadelphia Eagles Facebook page searching for a local place to watch the Eagles Play on Sunday. They were in Washington, DC to take on the Redskins. Being an Eagles Fan for over 50 years I wanted to find a place to enjoy a Sunday afternoon with the family watching the game. One of the recommendation I got was for a place called "Philadium" which is very close to the Eagles home at Lincoln Financial Field. Sunday afternoon we ordered up an Uber and set out to find the place. It was tucked on a street corner of a local neighborhood. When we got there I was not sure what kind of place it would be. I was not disappointed. My wife, two of my sons, and I were dressed to watch the game. We found a place that we want to go back to next year. Warm friendly people who just want what we wanted, which was eat, drink and watch the Eagles notch another victory. We enjoyed mozzarella sticks, wings, pierogies, kielbasa, and buckets of beer! Awesome servers, friendly clientele, numerous TV's, and great atmosphere. We even purchased Philadium T-Shirts. Already making plans to go back next year. Thank you to all at Philadium for making our visit there a highly pleasant and memorable one. read more

We were just there this past Saturday before the Phils game. I am not sure what happened to this place, we found it a few years back and loved the food, staff and place, just an awesome dive bar with great food and beer. Ok first off the fella who waited on us was NOT friendly at all, the little old guy was helping us and he butted in to take our order like that guy wasn't doing a good job!! Second we all ordered the same thing basically Cheese steak with provolone instead of the melted cheese they usually serve on it, everyone's came out looking nice and cheesy except for mine! WHAT!! So my hubby gave me his and forgot he got onions on it but I ate 1/2 of it and never came across an onion until I hit the second half - loaded with onions! How is that possible??? Oh well so I didn't eat that! The fries were pretty good. Now lets talk tab, he put all 4 of us on one tab instead of asking if we were going to be separate, so one of us walked up there to get him to split up the bill and he said "I will try" what the hell does that mean? So he was able to split the bill and ours was almost $60 OMG!!!! 1 bucket of domestic beer plus 2 more single beers 2 cheese steak subs and 1 basket of fries!! I could get a steak dinner for this price! So needless to say we probably won't be back! And it seems like everyone else gave them such good reviews, sad because we really liked it (once) Not sure if it was because we weren't locals or he was having a bad day but it was like we were a thorn in his side, he only came over twice, he should love out of towner's, strike up a convo and see where we came from to see the Phillies play ball but he didn't, we were all pulling for the Phils, barely said two words to us!
