Not much to say about this place, its pretty much your average, run of the mill old bar . (a bit of a dive-bar, along the lines of the Welcome Inn and Berminghams etc)
When i used to work in a garage in Croke Park, a few of us would often frequent here on a friday afternoon to put a hole in our pay-packet. I havnt drank here in a while but i have heard it hasnt changed much. Infact I would doubt it has been changed at all in the last thirty years...(i am a firm believer in 'if it aint broke dont fix it' and by the looks of it so is the owner, although it all adds to this pubs character)
I wouldnt recommend to plan your night around this place, nor would I suggest to go out of your way to find it. Although if you do find yourself in the area, it is worth checking it out for a pint, and you'll always find someone in here you can 'bend the ear off'. read more
