Now you can't go in, you can't park, you strictly can drop your animal off and they come to the car and come get them. SHADY!! This nasty man had the nerve to say after charging full price for grooms to "adjust" my new puppy to the groomer making us come every 2 weeks for 2 months to make a snide comment about how if she was going to be hyper they were going to cancel the appointment and they weren't going to groom her. SHES A PUPPY UNDER A YEAR OLD FOR CHRIST SAKE!! He just genuinely seems to hate animals and people!! The absolute straw that broke the camels back was I was 5 minutes late an appointment due to trying to get an elderly small dog with hip problems and a puppy into my car by myself and drive and his clock was 10 minutes faster than every other clock in the world and he refused to honor the appointments for both dogs even after he came and grabbed one of my dogs and took them inside already, so they groomed one and gave her the most hideous groom ever, you had to cancel my other dog for being 5 minutes late but couldn't make sure her cut was even now that you had one less dog?! This place was the reason we started grooming our first dog because of his nasty attitude but a family friends kid started working there so we gave them another chance. I wish I could separate the two. We've now been taking both of our dogs (both miniature poodles) to Carm's Dog House consistently for almost 3 to 3 1/2 years now. It's actually the longest we've stayed with a grooming establishment. This review is more about the superb (in house) groomer Candice. She's fantastic, very patient, kind and most importantly willing to listen thoroughly to every detail of requests that you ask of her. She definitely has the personality and patience for this type of work. There have only been a few instances where we've noticed minor things that needed to be adjusted (nails not filed or trimmed enough or some spots of hair needing to be taken in more) to which we ALWAYS received a response; "please come back so we can fix it to make you happy". Most other establishments and/or groomers would give attitude and/or charge extra to fix or correct a minor task (all fixable within 2 min). Candice is exceptional at what she does, very welcoming and personable and we can definitely tell she's a dog lover who portrays all what you'd want in someone caring for your pet. Carm's has raised their prices over the last few years but we decided to stay due to Candice. She's outstanding at her job and only improved over the years at her craft! I only took one star away due to the nails and shampoo request not being fulfilled - I'm certain however there won't be a problem in satisfying this and I'll update review immediately when this is complete.

We've been taking our dog here for a couple years now and have had all positive experiences until our most recent appointment. We are very specific with how our dog gets trimmed and it's never been a problem before. When we dropped him off, we went over the details and thought it would be another regular visit. We got a text letting us now our dog was ready and we paid and tipped before seeing him... all because that's what Plush Spa requests. Big red flag looking back. We get there and realize they've done the complete opposite of what we've asked for. He's got long hair where we asked for it short and short hair where we have never once asked for it to be cut back. We are baffled. It looks like a child found scissors and the dog was the unfortunate target. When we tried to address our concerns with the owner, she became defensive and refused to admit any wrongdoing. Basically, finding any excuse to blame us. She wouldn't even give us the tip back, let alone a refund. We will never return here and look forward to warning others.
