Don't recommend this physical therapy practice. Some of the staff are bad people. I've had issues…read morewith fees, and the little equipment they had was a little bit grimy. Only go here if you are feeling lucky and live close by.

I was really looking forward to going to this place. The only great thing that I can say is I had a…read moregreat experience with I think Nick's assistant. He was awesome. He should be running things!!! Before going here I had to answer a bunch of questions over the phone. That wasn't a problem. This was a workman's Comp injury. I asked the girl on the phone if I needed to bring my own insurance card she said no. When I got to my 1st appt none of my info was in the computer. I could tell right away that Nick wasn't happy about this and time was an issue for him. Not a good way to start. The person at the front desk asked me for my insurance card. I told them I didn't have it and was told I didn't need it. That was an issue. I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork which I didn't mind but it was obvious my new therapist wasn't excited about my insurance card. I had to call home to get my insurance info so while I'm filling out all these forms I'm also on hold. It was a big tense in the room. I had asked if they wanted me to reschedule. I'd had prefer to reschedule so we can start off on the right foot. Anyways Nick just examined me and gave the pool schedule. No one told me where I'd be going the next time I'd be coming. This is a big place. It's quite confusing the 1st couple times. The 1st time I went for the pool session I almost walked out. I had to have a stranger show me where everything was. I'm not going to go into heavy detail because I've voiced my opinion to mike (nicks awesome assistant) many of times about the receptionists!!! There's no customer service. Talk about ppl being mean and disrespectful. I have many health issues. One day I was nervous to cancel so I asked my hubby to do it and he couldn't believe how rude the girl was on the phone. Long story short I wouldn't recommend this place. There are some safety issues in the pool. At times the staff are talking about other patients forgetting about the patients in the pool. I shouldn't hear them talk about other patients that I potentially know while I'm waiting to be told what to do. I felt like it was a waste of time. I made sure to voice my opinion to Nick and to my insurance adjuster. I didn't really feel like Nick even cared honestly. Don't go here. Go to another place.

Not for me.....as a runner trying to heal an injury and get ready for the marathon, the last thing…read moreyou want to hear from your physical therapist as they are working on you is "So how long is a marathon?".....I knew I was in the wrong place! Everyone here is SUPER helpful and friendly, just perhaps the therapists who advertise themselves as experienced in "sports PT" should have some actual knowledge in common sports such as the Boston Marathon? I have been here for recovery from a neck/upper back injury from a car accident and overall had a good experience and left recovered. The therapists could serve well to keep the office drama to a minimum and keep in mind that patients can hear through the thin fabric curtains......

Then many years later, for several different occupational injuries I did lots of therapy at the Chelsea location (not realizing it was the same facility), but still very pleased with my therapists and staff. Since 2009 I have been being treated for pre-surgery as well as after 2 shoulder surgeries I had at Mass General. The Chelsea office is no longer open, but to my surprise I still have the same wonderful therapist Andrew at the Malden location. I am much more at ease facing possible treatment for my shoulder with Dr. Zahner, and of course the following therapy with Andrew, Kelly and "the crew" even the office staff Leigh and Chris help to make my pending recovery pleasant. Thanks Team NSOA
