Joni was amazing! She is so experienced at eyelash extensions that I was very impressed. The…read moreperson I used before her made my lashes very sparse and long, so they looked like the daddy long legs spiders that we played with as kids. They were so embarrassing that I ended up cutting off the long, sparse extensions before I went on my cruise. Now Joni, in comparison, did very thick, luxurious lashes for the same price. As a bonus, the 2 + hour time for my full set of lashes went by so quickly because she was so personable, interactive, and genuine. I truly enjoyed my experience, and I'm looking forward to going back for my fills.

She did great with lash extensions, but when I got my eyebrows done, my first threading was SO RED…read morethat I looked like a freak! My husband was embarrased to be seen with me. Lois was the one who suggested that I needed to have my eyebrows done. When I went back after the red fiasco, she decided to correct it by doing some darker shading. I liked the new color, but the pain and bleeding were unexpectedly severe. I'm fairly tolerant of pain (even sutured my own laceration with no anesthesia) and I had eyeliner tattoos done twice and tolerated it very well. However, this was out of proportion to what I would have expected. I understand that it was as frustrating for Lois as much as it was for me, but I bled so much, and she said she couldn't use any more topical anesthetic for the pain. She treated me like it was my fault, and glared at me when I gave her my payment. She wouldn't even take my check until I left a tip, and I'd always tipped before that. My new esthetician noticed the stippling scars on my eyebrows, and said that Lois went too deep. Please understand that I recognize Lois as a master in her craft in eyelash extensions. I know that she now has a school to teach eyelash extensions, and I'm sure she's very good at that. However, after my eyebrow experience, I would never go back.
