    Several weeks ago I visited this facility to get information of the Respire device. I paid my…read moreinsurance co-payment. I spoke with M. Jackson for about 15 minutes. She reviewed my latest sleep study and told be I was not eligible for this device. No tests were performed or other medical services. Lo and behold I receive a bill for an addition amount the said the insurance didn't cover. I spoke with the insurance company and they told me that they had paid the the allotted amount. I could have seen the extra charge if some medical tests or other procedures were done. So they tried to get more money for nothing. I have been to many "specialists" and only paid my co-payment and never was billed for more. I have a Medicare Advantage plan. Even if I had qualified for this device, I wouldn't have this place to it - they would probably over charge.

I was given a prescription to a pharmacy that more resembled a health store than an actual pharmacy, for them to mix up a powdered concoction for me to mix into a saline nasal rinse solution. It took 2 days for this pharmacy to have this concoction ready. After a few days of using this powder mixed into my nasal rinse solution, I developed a terrible upper respiratory tract infection, which was a listed possible side effect of this concoction. So, I ceased using it. Then I was scheduled by this office to have a CT scan of my sinuses. I called multiple times to cancel this scheduled CT scan, as I had one performed on me not long before then by my pulmonologist. I wanted to instead bring the ENT office the results of that scan. But this practice NEVER answers their phone. And when you leave a message, they do not call you back (except once). After what was probably a couple dozen attempts to contact them, and leaving multiple voice mail messages, they called back one time. But I was at the other end of my house and did not get to my phone in time. I called back immediately, but again, no answer. And no call back on the message I left. Then the day before my scheduled CT scan, I was sent a text message to either confirm (enter 1) or cancel (enter 3) the CT scan. I entered 3 to cancel. I assumed I was in the clear on that matter. And my proof is still stored in my phone. But it did not matter that I hit 3 to cancel, as my next bill had a $50 'no show' fee added to it. But they will have to take me to court to get that $50 is all I have to say on that.

    I would not recommend using Med-South for Cpap supplies. I recently got a new Cpap machine from…read morethem and went to order supplies. Had to call back several times to get an update. 3 weeks later they said oh they were delivered on this date. Go to the post office and make a claim. They were rude indifferent and could care less. I was with another company for 8 years and they never missed a beat . Sent email updates on supplies , shipping and very friendly. I am going back. Takes years to earn trust and only seconds to lose it.

I did not know anything regarding the recall or the new machines I had an option to upgrade. They steered me to a Resvent and now I fnally got the story that the company was using these machines in time to get through all the recalls. I had other options to obtain in addition to the Resvent and was not told. In the three years I have been dealing with Foley office, I have never been treated well. Its like they seem bothered by my presence. The first year they never told me I needed to download data to my doctor annually to renew supplies. They thought I should know this. As I said, everyone in Foley has never been customer service friendly. Finally on Tuesday, August 5, I went to have my chip for machine to be downloaded as my annual doctor's appointment is Thursday. They informed me they did not nor ever had the software to download from this machine. I informed them they have done this for the last two years. They argued and said they never had the software. I again shared they had the software as they downloaded data the previous two years. I told them I felt like I was in The Twilight Zone. They basically told me there is nothing they could do. What in the world is wrong with companies now. No customer service! I am done with Med South! There are two other option close by!
