I have never waited very long. There's plenty of seating inside if you're wanting to eat there, too! The cranberry turkey wrap is my go-to. It's just sooo good. I never would have come up with the combo myself but it's one of my favorites! I love getting it when I can leave work for lunch. I have had the tots before which I remember being very good. I really enjoyed the Mac salad as a side this time. It has a generous amount of dressing (which is the best part, imo!) and veggies. Overall, a no-frills stop with friendly, fast service.

Kelly Metrick, her mother, Michaelene O'Connor, and restaurateur Saul Leon started San Miguel on…read morethe northside of Syracuse several years ago. The mother-daughter duo met Leon in their hometown of Waterloo. He had opened a Mexican restaurant there, and the food was so good that Metrick urged him to partner with them to open San Miguel. San Miguel quickly became popular, especially among young professionals and Syracuse University students, who would often rave about San Miguel's food, how it's all made in-house, right down to the chips and salsa you're served when you first sit down. The move to Baldwinsville had been in the works for months, and Metrick had hoped to keep open the downtown location. The restaurant at 425 N. State St., however, became part of a state-designated orange zone because of the coronavirus, so all indoor dining had to cease, and Metrick decided to close down and focus solely on the new location, which now occupies the former Muddy Waters Kitchen & Bar, on the banks of the Seneca River at 2 Oswego St. My wife and I were regulars at the original San Miguel on the northside from the time it first opened. Loved it every time we went and we recommended it to all our friends, so we knew we had to try the new location, especially since we live closer to the new location to the old. There's definitely a lot more space. The downtown restaurant seated 91 customers; the Baldwinsville location can accommodate 300, which includes outdoor seating with a waterfront view. The space is decorated nicely. We were sat right away. Chips & salsa immediately on the table as usual. My wife got an order of nachos while I went with the Godzilla Dilla. Everyone was delicious as usual, pricing was what I'd expected, service was fast and friendly. No difference in the quality of food from when they first opened, so we'll be back.

I finally made it here and it's definitely worth the trip!…read moreNice and clean inside, there's seating outside too. Order at the counter and they deliver your food. They have a smoked wing special on Wednesday, $1 / wing. I ordered 10 to eat there and 15 to bring home. I always order my wings with sauce on the side. The house sauce( slightly vinegary mild spice), garlic Parmesan and Buffacue ( buffalo sauce and BBQ) were all nice, but I actually prefer a little sweetness in my bbq sauce, so next time I'll try the Hot Honey. The wings were hot and crispy from a quick fry before serving, they were nice and moist with a nice amount of smokey flavor. My Smoked Turkey sandwich was one of the best I've had.... beautiful smoke flavor, nice amount of meat on the sandwich and very moist. The roll was fresh and I got a little coleslaw for a nice crunch. They have a few beers on tap and sodas and ice tea. Service was very good and I can't wait to go back to try the ribs.

The trailer grew into a brick-and-mortar restaurant in the summer of 2025. After plans to open the restaurant in the village of Phoenix fell through, Reynolds instead opened the restaurant on the other side of the Oswego River in Lysander. The location at 2935 Lamson Road had most recently been home to Harper's Pizza & Ice Cream and Henderson Dairy. Wife and I went into Angry Pig around noon on a Sunday. You order at a counter, then can sit at the handful of tables if eating in and it will be brought to you, so we were able to sit immediately, especially since it was right about opening time. We ordered the 2 smoked meats 2 sides platter with pulled pork, sliced brisket, mac & cheese & fried brussels sprouts, but we also added a side of crispy onions, and they also had a special of $1 each smoked wings, so we ordered 10 total - 5 in buffalo sauce, 5 in spicy peach. Food was brought quickly and everything was very good. The pulled pork was good, the brisket was fall apart tender, the fried brussels were crispy and salty in a good way. Fried onions were good, and we really enjoyed the wings, especially the spicy peach. Good smoke flavor on the wings and you definitely tasted the sweetness of the peach in the sauce. The mac and cheese was pretty bland, but that'd be our only complaint about the food. The employees were friendly, and the price was comparable to other BBQ restaurants - we paid $48 for everything, and there was food to bring home. We'll definitely be back for more.

I first came in last night, and noticed that even though this is very rural, the restaurant was packed. all ages all types of people. I sat at the bar (even though I don't think they serve alcohol) and took a gander at the menu. they have paper place mats with all local businesses advertising so they're very community oriented. they were so busy last night, I think they only had three servers and they were running around like chickens with no heads. there's a sign that says that it's not a fast food place, and to be patient because every order is cooked / made to order. so the food. I ordered fried ravioli as an appetizer, and then I ordered the bucket of Bones. my only disappointment in this place so far is that my toasted raviolis sat in the back and were sort of cold when they came out, and I understand, cuz the servers were just that busy but it wasn't a great way to start off my meal. I ordered the bucket of bones, which is four baby back ribs, and three pieces of fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and cottage cheese. they came out piping hot, and delicious. oh and the portion size? really good size portions. I even had enough to bring back with me to eat today. they even gave me a soda to go. I came back in for breakfast this morning, and they actually have a breakfast buffet! and get this! you can even get the breakfast buffet to go. so you could basically load up your plastic tray as full as you could and walk out with 30 bucks worth of food for only $14.99! but I didn't go that route. as my pictures show, I had a southern style eggs benedict which the description is in the picture. they have a very good size and diverse menu, for all meals. my breakfast portion size was perfect, and, guess what? they even gave me coffee to go! the food is good, service is good, and I love the fact that they're so community-oriented, they even know their customers on a first name basis. and today, along with probably every other weekend day, they're having an open pit barbecue starting at 11:30 a.m. until I think they close, serving up brisket, pork ribs, and chicken. so if I get hungry, again today, I'm definitely going to hit that. if you're driving through this part of upstate, and looking for a place to eat, this is the place to go!

The menu is large but I knew I wanted breakfast so I chose the original frittata (large). I knew I would have leftovers for my husband but was not prepared for the size of this!!! This was HUGE and tasted amazing. The Italian toast was also good but not the normal thick bread but very thin and toasted perfectly. My friend got the chicken on greens with hot honey and blue cheese (she loved it). My other friend the hot turkey sandwich. She said it was good but deli meat turkey and not as large a portion as what we had. I will go back and try that chicken salad because that looked amazing. I'm glad they straightened out the problems they had before the fire and now this is a great diner.
