One week before the event, she canceled, saying she had food poisoning. She sent a long apology email, refunded our money, and offered nothing else. No backup plan, no referrals, no support. Just a cancellation and goodbye. How does food poisoning a full week in advance prevent you from working an event seven days later? It makes no sense. Now we are left scrambling to find another caterer on short notice for something we have been planning for months. Do not hire this caterer. She is unreliable and unprofessional. If anything goes wrong, you will be left to deal with the fallout on your own.
