I believe Dr. Waldstein saved my life. I contracted Lyme disease back in 2012 and was very sick…read more I couldn't get a conventional doctor to even see me. I got sick around the end of May and continued to get worse through December. I was sensitive to light and sound, my sense of balance was bad, I had brain fog, a horrific sinus infection, conjunctivitis, dizziness & vertigo, coordination and cognitive issues. At one point I couldn't even recognize my own daughter. Since I hadn't been able to get a conventional doctor to see me, I started looking for alternative doctors. Around the end of December, I came across Dr. Waldstein online and scheduled an appointment. In the meantime I read all the information he had on his website and also did some additional reading on classical homeopathy. Dr. Waldstein was very tentative, compassionate and thorough with the questions he asked during our initial appointment. About a week later, he had me come in for the remedy. About 20 minutes after I left his office, I felt a strange tingling sensation like energy or electricity all over. I was indeed a qualified candidate and happily paid $147 for her 1-2 hr Zoom meeting to get on a deeper level of understanding how I could benefit. I was very excited, intrigued and mystified and wanted to know her secrets. I wanted to do this for a long time and wean out from the BIHRT I am currently on. I had been to similar webinars/seminars, did my own research on this topic, etc. so I wasn't a stranger to it or an "uneducated consumer". What threw me off in the very beginning was her strong hold and demand on my spouse to be present on the Zoom meeting against my will. I gently tried warning the staff that this meeting/program was for ME only and that my husband most definitely will be unable to sit thru a lengthy 1-2 hr session talking about my problems or would he wanted to know about my bladder leak, but they kept on insisting stating that they wanted the spouse to be there to understand what I would be going through and obviously decide on the cost together. They wouldn't take NO for an answer. I let go of it knowing the outcome. The Zoom call started out with questions on our sex life and we immediately felt like we had a session with a shrink instead, talking about our sexual relationship, if we had any issues being intimate, etc etc., at which point my husband said that he had enough and did not want to discuss his sex life with a stranger, excused himself then got up and left. I didn't blame him a bit and was actually relieved that he got out of this meeting. Dr. R and I continued on our conversation, still being mysterious and all. When it came down to the cost of this program she said that her program cost was from $2000 to $15,000, which I was still ok with, but I would have to "commit" to 3 to 6 mos on this program. I was still puzzled as to know how it would benefit ME if I paid $2000 or $15,000, would I be able to endure even a 1 mos on this program not knowing what the hell I am committing to. I do like to know exactly what I am investing in before I actually purchase something so so surprises later. As far as the cost, I was told that bc the program was this costly Dr. R wanted the spousal approval as well so that I didn't waste her time. I informed Dr. R that I didn't have to ask my husband's permission and money was not an issue. At this point Dr. R and I looked at one another and said our goodbyes. It was very obvious we were not a good match. She wouldn't take the time to listen to ME. The mystery, the commitment, the unknown....Boy oh boy, this entire meeting has left me more baffled, disappointed and disgusted. I do get that Dr. R is passionate about what she does and that she doesn't want her time being wasted, but the entire approach was a hard sell, too pushy, too forceful and extremely overwhelming or at least this is how Dr. R and her staff came across. The experience left me feeling disappointed and frustrated by the false accusations of effectiveness. Even on calls where it was evident that I wasn't doing well, they just told me to go at my own pace. There was no real concern that I was failing. In hindsight, I wish I had invested my resources elsewhere.

Once I went to a real functional medicine Dr they discovered what the cause of all of my health issues was in one visit. I really enjoyed seeing Dr Singh, unfortunately she prescribed me a new medication at every visit. Prozac, Wellbutrin, adderall, Xanax, etc. A functional medicine Dr does not polydrug their patient to mask their symptoms. Then came my 4 year long journey of withdrawal due to Dr Singh abruptly taking me off all the antidepressants she had me on. She has done this to 2 other people that I know personally, and they have suffered equally as much as me as a result. When I realized that I was in withdrawal, her only response to me was "want me to send you another prescription for Prozac?" I stayed off all the meds and finally made out of the withdrawal hell, battled severe withdrawal symptoms including depression, suicidal ideation, panic attacks and horrific akathisia just to share a few and I now feel strong and amazing and I am returning to warn others and perhaps educate the Dr herself of the damages that overprescribing can cause. I think Dr Singh has good intentions and I really loved the aspire health model. I suffered so much from the effects of her negligence that I would feel terrible not speaking out.
