Despite the high price, the inclusion of a 50ml perfume made it seem acceptable. but, the redeem card was sealed inside of box, need to open the box to do the redeem, and need to pay before open it, made it is final sale. However, upon opening the box that evening, I was shocked to find that the products inside did not match what was depicted on the outer packaging. Instead, I found it is free simples, which I typically receive whenever I buy perfume. At that moment, I felt a deep sense of betrayal that words cannot fully express. No wonder why make you pay before open it and soon you open it you own it, and it is final sale. This is embarrassing and insulting gift to give to anyone. I have previously purchased similar mini perfume sets, and the outer packaging has always accurately represented the contents, either through transparent packaging or by the sales associate opening it for me to view. This was my first experience buying a mystery box from a major retailer, and I find it shocking that such practices exist in Canada. It feels like a breach of trust, manipulating customers in a manner that is simply unacceptable. A Friend told me it is false advertising, I should get my money back. Therefore, I have strongly request a refund for this purchase. I went in looking for a common itch/burn cream for my (healed) skin graft donor site because I CANNOT sleep well due to the itchiness. The pharmacist said he seriously could not help me because he didn't know anything about skin grafts. I showed him the almost healed site and explained I normally put vaseline or lotion on it and it's basically just like road rash, that the doctors have okayed it for anything ("treat it like normal skin")- and that my dad used burn cream on his skin grafts to stop the itching. He just insisted he couldn't help. My boyfriend wasn't too pleased with him but I tried to understand that perhaps the pharmacist just felt uncomfortable. Other times I've gone to put prescriptions in I'm given an ETA for pickup and it isnt quite ready. Not always, but certainly a few times. Otherwise, I love the little post office there. Straight forward, easily accessible. The rest of the store is all right, gets you what you need especially if you're stopping in after grocery store hours.
