SUCH A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE…read more I needed at least 57 cubic ft of helium for a weather balloon launch my friends and I were doing (for GISH). This shop had the best prices of the couple I was calling around to on a Saturday, needed it same day. The mid-size was WAY more helium than I needed but it was cheaper than buying two smaller sizes still (and worked out because we totally ended up using around 90 cubic ft, they helped estimate for me upon returning the tank). So anyway, good prices, they didn't charge me a deposit for the tank (most places do), they helped answer some of my questions and seemed genuinely interested in what I was doing and what GISH was. Upon return, different shop assistant, same experience! He was super helpful, and seemed interested in our silly weather balloon adventure. They even allowed me to return slightly after hours (I was running 10 mins late past 5, due to rush hour). So from start to finish I just found them incredibly kind, helpful, accommodating, and friendly. On top of competitive helium pricing. Yay!

Corner Balloon Shoppe was a dream to work with for our agency holiday party!…read more Lynn is a kind and friendly partner who wanted our event to look as amazing as we did! She truly made our vision come to life with a smile on her face. We were able to send her photos of our space and what we were thinking of, and she was immediately able to tell us what she thought and an approximate cost. We also rented letters from Alphalit, who the balloon shoppe works with, to complete our space. They were here right on time to setup and were a joy to be with and talk with. You can truly see their creative minds flow as they set up the big balloons and add in tiny ones and novelty balloons. They were fast and efficient, and don't even have to come back to pick them up after the event (you can just pop them)! If you ever need a way to wow at an event, I recommend this business!

We hired experienced vendors for a reason. Why would we need a separate coordinator? We needed our own day-of coordinator. Dana was perfect. (Special thanks to our photographer, Adrian Steinbach, for recommending her.) She'd have been an excellent full coordinator if we'd engaged her earlier, but for us, it was great to bring her into the planning ~2-3 months before our wedding. She ended up providing day-of coordination and some bonus last-minute vendor coordination and planning documentation in the several weeks beforehand. She thought of all the little things we wouldn't ever even know to think about. Made sure the aisles were packed at our ceremony. Suggested fair tip amounts/standards and distributed them to vendors day of. Made sure vendors were all in the right place at the right time. Shared planning templates with us. They are. We had a wedding and reception in Seattle and a reception in Minneapolis, so I had the chance to compare what you get when you try to save money on the DJ to what you get when you spend the extra. And honestly, you get what you pay for. I won't comment on my Seattle DJ, besides to repeat that you get what you pay for. But we knew we were going to have a smaller group in the Cities and that the DJ was going to have to play a central role in the reception here. Chris was our DJ, and he was great. He was there before us, set up went fine. He rolled with the punches when a bunch of technical stuff didn't work out. He made announcements, hosted a "game show" that we did for fun, and made the 10-15 people who stayed to dance enjoy themselves. Basically, he ran the show from 6:00 to 11:00 That's not to say we didn't have the night planned out...we did. But after listening to our instructions, he pretty much controlled the room. The DJ was a professional, and so was the set up. We weren't really penny pinching on our wedding stuff, but we're not rich either. But we decided we weren't going to skimp on the DJ here, and it was one of the better choices we made during this whole process.
