Putting a big percentage of my salary away each paycheck and felt good about it. This was the first time I had a really long and meaningful conversation about why I am putting it away and how I want to use it to do good while I am investing and how to plan for the future. He was so patient and not judgmental, even though I am extremely risk adverse I wanted him to make my investments aggressive and just not talk to me about the risk. He didn't bat an eye at that kind of non-sense. This is a safe place- and honestly, I didn't know I would l have so many feelings. I am finally getting what I want and feeling heard. I didn't know that a financial advisor could be like a therapist. I am so impressed with him and proud of myself after this.

The inspection said I did anyway this was about 10 yrs ago. If something like that happened today there would be all kinds of repercussions and consequences. For all involved but this was before the laws changed and social media was used to rightly crucify folk. Needless to say I did not sign that paperwork from the mortgage company scam artists right along with the scheming RE agents no thanks to that dude. I could have sued. I filed a complaint against the mortgage company for racist remarks and that also went no where. Now on the other hand fast forward to the one located in North Philadelphia around Broad and Erie, service is like night and day. Wonderful older woman I worked with for counseling was excellent, she called back when I had questions and told me what to do if I had any problems with any party involved when purchasing a home. That was about five years ago or so. She was like a one woman show. I learned from that experience, go to the next one. Outside of the one dude the services and workshops are very helpful as well as the people who present them. So I've been using Capital MD's tax services for many years. I really loved how reliable,…read morepersonable and the level of professionalism my preparer has always displayed. I've always had great results. However, a few years back both my husband and I used their services to join our taxes, at the time I thought the results were great as always, but; a year later we received a letter from the IRS explaining that there had been a major error during our tax prep. The error resulted in a huge amount of owed back taxes . Obviously so, I called up RASSAN (extremely angry) however he remained professional and took full responsibility. Due to the pandemic we had to wait another year for the final owed balance and investigation. However, after the investigation wrapped up, I notified Capital MD with the outcome and thankfully so, within a few weeks our back taxes had been paid in full with $0 remaining balance. So, I say that to say while mistakes happen and sometimes we may not be in a place to think clearly, Rasaan and his staff fully understood our frustrations, always responded to our calls, text, emails and remained in contact with us until our taxes were paid in full. All which restored my full confidence with his company, and added security knowing he has a legit business with the proper protections in place in the event that errors occur. Therefore, I highly recommend Capital MD going forward. I promise you all will receive 1st Class services all the way to the finish line.
