Lovely little spot in Moorrooduc, and a great down-to-earth smaller winery with a small range of fantastic wines available for tasting. Quality really is up there - as James Halliday agrees, with some great reviews given out to Phaedrus in the new Wine Companion.
The co-winemaker (along with his wife) served us with a refreshing laid-backness to explaining his wine-making and ethos. The wines are grouped in 3 price ranges, so there's something for everyone, however at $26 the 2013 Pinot Noir (Pinots being the main reason we come to the Peninsula) was what went home with us this time. read more
