Luckily, two of my current clients told me about The Insurance People, and I'm so glad that they did. Alexandra responded to my inquiry almost immediately, and she walked me through how I could acquire the coverage I needed as a frequent traveler. In less than a week, they found the right plan for me, got it all registered and set up, and even found a way to make it more affordable for me. I cannot say enough good things about them - if you need to explore health insurance options and don't know where to start, definitely reach out to these folks immediately!

This is the first year the exchange is no longer offered and I was referred to this company for help. The owner set up a call with me and then never called me when she was supposed to. I called them and somebody else called me back and said they weren't prepared and would it be OK if they called me in three hours? I said yes and she called me back and we spoke for a while and made an appointment for the following week to set up insurance. Over the weekend I had a couple questions and after I asked the second question, the owner literally canceled the call for Monday saying she no longer wanted to work with me because there were so many people who really wanted help and I didn't really want it. ?? I think what really happened is they messed up twice, we're about to mess up a third time and don't want to take accountability. For a woman run business to tell another woman to go take their business somewhere else is very telling. The nail in the coffin was that I went online directly with Blue Cross Blue Shield got a plan and it was cheaper than what they quoted me.

However, when it comes to sales, she seems to be readily available. This contrast is deeply frustrating. We have emailed the State Farm claims department multiple times with no response or updates. The complete lack of communication and support is unacceptable, especially for a company that promotes itself as being "like a good neighbor." Unfortunately, our experience has been anything but. I would not recommend State Farm to anyone based on the poor service we've received. They should truly be ashamed of how this situation has been handled. They sent us a check for less than what their contractor/adjuster quoted. I cannot believe that State Farm allows this type of business practice and allows for long standing clients to be treated as such.
