Starter Carpaccio: ! 30gr. ! frozen beef topped on salad (thats nor our understanding of carpaccio or ?) with lots of parmesan cheese for 11,.EUR no discussion about Main: beef filet ordered english-medium arrived : medium/well done (friend got my my meal !) + Sauce bearnaise with sambal (cold) like gelantine ! kindly complained about , with the following reaction: the sauce is always cold ! if you dont like it, youre not fitting to our understanding of guest we will not try to satisfy you Reaction: please cancel my order Billing: friend complained again about poor performance Reaction: discussion if the guest does not like how we teach him to accept the sauce he is not welcome". Just say Thank U ! In a nutshell: My recommendation : dont go there , its waste of money (sorry Rob) To be honest , think that the cook is very good, as well as the quality of food but the sercive (pointed out that she was the manager of the restaurant hardly to believe) has a wrong understanding whos the guest and how to make him feel comfortable. Some thinkabout: is it fortune or destiny that theres a snack bar located in front of the Langenhagener Steakhouse ? ps: im not the typical always complaining german guy please see othe postings. more or less defeating restaurants against unfair votings.     I walked out of there the night after they opened feeling like I threw my money away. They have no…read moreclue what customer service is. This was their second day open. You would think they would want to be sure everything was done correctly. When I ordered my burger well done, I bit into it, and will admit that the flavor combos on the cheese burner with jalapenos was pretty amazing. Until two bites later, the burger was not even medium, bit raw inside. I decided to take it back, thinking 'okay, they are new, and are probably working with some new people who are learning the art of burger cooking.' They made me a new one, but completely punished the burger, and me, for speaking up. It must have been pressed down several times to get all of the juice out and make it cook fast, but it was also completely burnt on the outside. if that was not bad enough, it was so full of salt that I couldn't eat it. I put it on the side thinking that perhaps because they were new, someone would ask me how it was. Not one person. While lI was waiting for the burger to be done, I started eating the sweet potato fries. About every second or third fry was cooked crisp on the outside but was raw on the inside. The temperatures for cooking the fries and the burgers are set way too high. A good burger is not fast food. When ordering well done at the Harp or at Duke's, it is lovingly prepared, cooked through and juicy. They have the art of the burger down. What a horrible feeling, spending so much money on a food after a hard day at work, only to be given crap and have nobody care that they are serving crap. Like I said, the first two bites were amazing. Please learn now to cook properly. Until then, I will stick with Duke's and the Harp. Maybe try the Lindenblatt Burger, which I also hear is pretty darned good.
