The restaurant of the Klosterwald hotel is mediocre. You are greeted by a shy waiter who is afraid…read moreto speak and does not show you to your table, the waiter comes minutes later to give you the menu. After hesitantly coming back for our order he barely says a thing and walks off. The starter (Vesper Platte) was a little disappointing. It consisted of basic sliced cheese and ham accompanied by bread. We were a group of 4 people but were only served 3 small slices of what seemed to be shop bought bread. Our expectations for the main were low but we were surprised when the flavour and quality was very high and delicious. I absolutely recommend the rumpsteak! After waiting around 30 minutes to order dessert, no waiter had come outside. We even had to go inside to pay with no dessert ordered or eaten.

Hotel was nice the breakfast was good. Not so good was the service inside the restaurant (not very…read morefriendly) next day we hear that the waitress was sick, so this would normally be better. Food itself was good nothing special.
