Thanks for saying my car is a diesel, there's timing belt slop, and my alternator is going bad; I don't recall the fourth one. Like I told you when you showed up, I didn't want to text you about it because you complained about people saying you broke stuff on other jobs. You did actually break my hood release mechanism, but the plastic was 11 years old and you told me about that, and the zip ties are still holding. We both don't know what the noise is but I know 100% it started the first time I drove the car more than 5 miles after you worked on it. If I always listened to loud music then this wouldn't be an issue and I would just be enjoying my ice cold ac. I've maintained and repaired this car for 120k miles. I'm not legally allowed to do ac work so I called you. Next time I'll get the certifications and the equipment. Cheers ORIGINAL: My ac works great but I've had a super annoying rattling noise since the work was performed. I've torn apart most everything that was touched during the repair and found a lot of loose bolts but still can't get the rattling to stop. I'm assuming it's just a bad quality expansion valve at this point. Not worth dropping another $1500 to resolve but definitely not calling them back for future work.
