In fact, this name was augmented to "Harry 'Houdini' the Hairy Hippy Hamster" after numerous daring escapes he made from his cage. Yep, he was a devious but loveable rogue and I always felt his tiny black eyes belied a great warmth of intelligence trapped in that thumb sized skull. Petland are great, choc-a-block with those cool, colourful twisty hamster pipes and rolling balls to keep all but the most artful of rodents engaged for hours. Meerkats, they have real live meerkats!…read more I spent a very happy half hour with junior watching their antics, after which we bought a dog bed, a toy for the cat and explained at great length why we couldn't take a meerkat home. Petworld is huge with a vast array of pets (anything from rabbits to tarantulas) and pet related accessories, worth wandering in to just for a look at the animals if nothing else!
