My friends and I walked inside (trying to mind the dysfunctional door) and split up to browse the chocolate truffles, bars, and cakes available for purchase. I got a few chocolate bars (with pistachios and hazelnuts) to take home, and my friends did the same with truffles and bark in the front glass case. I got a slice of chocolate cake and enjoyed every last bite. Nothing in Viziovirtu tasted too sweet. Didn't try the gelato, but the cake would have paired well with a scoop of something cold. This is a must-visit in Venice!
