Horrible experience with grooming at Petsmart in Greer/Taylors today. Took my fairly well maintained mini golden doodle in for an 11:00 appointment for a full groom, they said it would take 3-4 hours, closer to 4. Fine. Went to wait in the parking lot at 3:00; at 3:30 my husband went in to check on her. He came back in a minute saying they said it would be another hour and a half! So we went to Applebees down the street and had a drink. Returned at 5:00; at 5:20 husband went in to check and watched through the window as she brushed her out. At 5:30 I called the manager from the car who apologized and comped the groom, which was nice.BUT questions I never got answers to: What were they doing with her for 6 hours? Was she in the cage most of the time? Any access to water or a bathroom break? Why didn't they call us at 3:00 and tell us it would be much longer? Ridiculous. NEVER again. read more

I visited the PetSmart in Greer yesterday and had a really upsetting experience. There was a red-haired employee working the front counter who was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. My dog is on a prescription gastro biome wet food, and I explained that I had driven daughter's car and didn't have the prescription with me, but that my daughter could send me a photo of it. The employee responded very rudely and made it clear she wouldn't help. Unfortunately, my phone died right after that. Since it was close to closing time and a snowstorm was coming, I asked if she could text my daughter for the photo or if I could quickly run next door to Target to get a charger and come back before 9. She loudly and sarcastically replied, "on my personal phone? uhhhhh no, " and continued to speak to me with a lot of attitude. When I calmly tried to explain that my dog urgently needed this food before the storm and reached over to try to endearingly explain she yelled "DONT TOUCH ME!" even though i had not even touched her. Everyone around us looked shocked by how she was treating me. To make things even more confusing she then stated that she was a manager, which surprised me because I shop at this location frequently and had never seen her before. After getting the prescription and returning, I was told they were suddenly out of the food, The entire experience was embarrassing, stressful and completely unnecessary. Since I was there groomer was already being very sarcastic Like if she didn't want to groom him I could've canceled service but I didn't because another employee touched my dog and said he was good to deal with so it's like Lindsey B. didn't want to work I wouldn't recommend her as a groomers she is just there for the money and doesn't care about pets I told her my dog goes through a lot of anxiety and gets scared of strangers and she didn't understand that she tried to make a big seen out of it which was very unmature of her and I'm younger then her and was able to hold my feelings over how she made me feel about my dog as I picked him up she continued talking bad about him and said she had to talk to manger to charge me extra fees that where unnecessary but it explains why there review rating is very low that should had been a red flag for future notices I don't recommend this Taylor's grooming to anyone they don't care about your pets feelings at the end of the day they just want a check she told me grooming closed @7pm? But this is there online schedule so funny how management works she charged me extra money because her plans where canceled after work? What does that have to do with me ? Your work company should pay you for staying on the clock that's not my fault I booked a grooming that took longer then an hour and she tried to call me 2 hours later and say she has to leave and that I have to pay fees for my dog because she canceled her plans ? But it's okay that's why I work to take care of my dog I'm sorry you didn't like my dog but you for sure didn't do a good work at grooming she tried to say at the end if he smells is probably cause he needs another grooming what was she trying to say that she didn't do anything cause why should my dog have a smell if he just showered ??? Please call to check on your pet to see if it has caged for more than an hour. My small pet was caged for over 4 hours past her appointment time until I showed up to check on her and got the manager involved. I can't imagine how they believe they had the right to treat an animal this way. Not happy that my pet had been caged for over 4 hours without access to water, while others were groomed before her. I won't allow this to happen to my pet in the future. I usually tip generously but not today. 4.25 hours and Rachel started to groom her once the manager got involved. This took an additional hour. The manager was kind and sympathetic and told me that Saturdays are like this and one of the groomers had called out. It wasn't until I got home that the ONLY service that seemed to have given was a brush out. Her ears and nails were not done and I couldn't tell if she had been bathed or not. read more

Went to the register intending to buy 5 toys for the price of 3, Associate informed us that you had to be in the loyalty club, we said we would purchase all at full price, he rang them up after looking for our phone #, I tapped my card, he bagged the items, we picked them up and walked 15 feet nearly out the door when he yells, stop them they are walking out without paying. No way he was yelling at us in a store full of Xmas shoppers, but he was. I turned walked back to the register, he was confrontational without seeking any resolution, I stated that I tapped my card and would make certain I had paid. Then turned to his manger on the next register who was no help. He suggested we get back in a line that was 25 deep. With the humiliation and lack of service - we handed the items back to the manager and let them know we would not be back. Its a great place to get your pet needs or animals but some of the workers are either extremely nice and helpful or extremely rude, but me and my son go there a lot and altho it takes a little while to get crickets he still loves it and he says he thinks the workers are so cool and that he wants to work there to so all in all I love petsmart and so does my son! My son has 6 frogs and the people at pet smart give him answers to his questions and help him figure out what's best for all his animals. read more

Horrible place, we have a friend who works there, raven lyles, and we asked her to show us where the cats were so we could say hello to her, long time no see right? Well the manager told us she was working and that we can't bother her and we understood that, we have jobs of our own... when my friend didn't move from the isle he was in the manager called their nonexistent security and tried calling Greer police department, keep in mind we are all teenagers. She told police we were making her female worker uncomfortable and I'm sure it was because it's 3 guys talking to one girl. Ha! Odd that I'm being asked to 'grade' PetSmart when I quit going to them for grooming ages ago after I noticed it was taking longer and longer to get my dog back after each visit. On the last day I took our pooch for a bath, I was made to stand in line just to check in to my appointed time. As I'm prone to do, I asked the lady next to me what time her appointment was. I'll be darned if it wasn't the same time as mine and with the same groomer (who was running behind...thus our wait). When said groomer finally appeared, I stood some more while my "appointment-time partner" check her dog in. My turn: I asked why two of her customers had the same appointment time and was advised this was SOP! I left Skeeter there that day because I was already there. Had an appointment for my dog today to get her bath and toenails done. Every time in the past year and a half they've always come out and got my dog I am handicapped and unable to walk into the store it's never been a problem. They called me and asked me to come in tour two hours early today so I get up get dressed hurry up and take my dog over and then I get there and they tell me no they can't come out and get my dog. I just did them the favor of coming in early this is the second time I have been shit on by this place well now I'm all done a can't even get any satisfaction or any extra help to get their dog in the store how ridiculous is that. Is it too much to ask for knowledgeable associates? When an associate recommended tank mate for my sons goldfish, I listened. A racing snail, I was told would clean the tank and was a better choice over an algae eater type fish. We brought both home and introduced them to their new home. Everything was fine at first...... Then I noticed the snail was never in the water. He was always hiding in the light hood or above the rim of the water. A week later I caught him on the outside of the tank. That started a habit of me anxiously monitoring the whereabouts of "turbo"s location every time I entered my son's room. Thursday nights check, he was just above the water line. Friday mornings check...... WHERE IS HE????? Panic set in. No snail anywhere. I searched everywhere. "Turbo" was gone. At first what started as a search and rescue effort turned the next day into a recovery effort. Cause, I'll be honest folks..... I DID not want little "Turbo" to go through a laundry cycle and have all my sons clothing smelling like escargot. Saturday we went to petsmart for advice & a possible new tank mate. Clearly I was not getting a new snail, cuz who needs the stress. What the associate told me (after 3 different associates ignored us for at least 5 minutes) was upsetting. THAT INITIAL ASSOCIATE SHOULD HAVE NEVER SOLD US A SNAIL & GOLDFISH TOGETHER. She told me that the snail was sensitive to the amount of ammonia the goldfish produced. That's why he was never in the water & ultimately why he booked it outta there. I asked her if we found the snail, could I bring it back? She said no. Even if I don't want a refund, just a new home for the damn thing? Nope. So, we left. Fast forward to today, Tuesday afternoon my son found "turbo". On the floor next to the desk where his tank is. No doubt in a desperate attempt to get back to that tainted water before he died. We dropped him in a gallon jug of treated water and crossed our fingers..... Folks, "Turbo" is alive. I can't believe it. But now...... I have no idea what to do with him. The poor creature has been through one heck of an adventure. I am not an easy person to upset, but I have been talked down to by rude associates/vet on a few occasions upon visiting this location. I am knowledgeable about dogs, and especially my dogs. That has been ignored, and they are way too pushy with their sales pitches. I love Petsmart as a whole, and their rewards program, but this is a dealbreaker. read more

This location of petsmart always has super long lines. We bought my 2 year old son an aquarium for his birthday; it was broken when we to set up. They did the exchange no problem on Sunday, and that associate was very helpful and informative. Well I definitely wish I could say the same about the associates that were tonight (a Thursday), it seemed like my family and I were inconveniencing them with our presence; much less trying to get help in getting a fish or any information on a fish for our child. I called in to get my dogs nails clipped. When I called, I said "hi there, what do I need to do to have my dogs clipped" the associate replied "oh that's a walk in services so you'll just need to stop by, as long as he is up to date on his rabies" I said he was, drove here to get clipped and the girl that helped me could t find an account. She asked for a phone number and didn't mention anything about why...so I told her I probably didn't since my name, phone and email wouldn't work. She said oh so do you have his paperwork? WTF?!? I walked into petsmart with my husband to get two female guppies. We waited twenty minutes without anybody even walking down the fish aisle to see if we needed help. I take my dog every 3 to 4 weeks to get her toe nails cut at the salon and on today November 20-2018 I had the most terrible experience there. I have always loved going to this PetSmart and Mia always does so well for them and that makes me feel really good. I took her this evening and waited outside the salon for 5 to 10 minutes because they were busy. When I went inside to give them my number, the girl asked if I had gotten Mia's rabie shot and I told her I had already brought the papers in when I had just got her nails done around the 3rd week of October 2018. I even ask the associate did she make sure she had keyed this in for Mia which would last for a year and she stated yes. I would not have known that she did not put this in their records, and now this was so uncalled for. Everyone is human and makes mistakes, but this is very serious when you count on them to do their job for entering information you supplied for future visits. I even had Mia's new tag on her and they still would not take her. When they cut her toenails last, they would not have been able to do this if I had not supplied the paperwork!!! I went to the front and ask for a manager and she took the info from the tag and went back to the salon and came back later and still said they could not do it. I was really upset because I had driven all the way in to town to get this done and wasted over an hour. I work retail and know the correct way to treat mishaps like this. Not nearly as friendly or well stocked as the Woodruff Rd store. I live 3 miles from this location, but have to travel to dreaded Woodruff Rd every time to get the rx dog food I need. One would think if a customer is willing to spend $3.09 for a can of dog food, the store manager would make sure to never be out of it!! read more

I had a terrible experience at this store. I have purchased all my pet supplies & food from them since they opened this store but will no longer shop this store. The cashier was very ugly to me when I came in to return a 30 lb. bag of dog food that had expired but was on the shelf when I purchased it the day before. It had moths fly out of bag as I was putting it in my dog food container. When I went back today with my receipt the cashier & manager said I needed to bring the empty bag back in along with my receipt. So I drove 10 miles back to get the empty bag & returned. At this time the cashier was rude when asking where the dog food was!!! I was so angry I wanted to just leave with NOTHING from their store! But I did pay over $50 for the food. The manager tried making me feel bad but did return my money to my credit card. I left & drove over to Laurens Rd store for my purchase.
