Staff at the Tacoma store seemed very caring, knowledgeable and professional with their customer service that they provided to me and Theo. They did exactly what I asked them to do for my Senior dog Theo. I'm extremely satisfied.

Today we did our first full from for our 4 month old pet Jax! Our groomer is Emily, and this is our second time with her. She's outstanding. Make sure you book with her because she makes sure that your puppy is left happy and looking awesome. She made sure that my pup was smelling good, showed me the size she was cutting the fur down too, and made sure his ears were all clean! The store itself always has a great variety of stuff, I'd rather go to petco though for the prices but still good. One photo I attached is his full groom that we just got, and the other photo is the trimming we got for him to introduce him to grooming!

Mel groomed my Toy Poodle, Cricket, this morning n Cricket is absolutely perfect The whole store is very customer oriented n each associate working checked to see if I needed any help in finding anything. This is, by far, my favorite pet store!!!

I went into this store and asked a employee when will the turtles be instock because the sign says ask an employee. She had no idea when the turtles would he in. She started telling me how hard they are to take care of. Basically talking to me and my wife like we were incompetent individuals. Like I know nothing about turtles and shouldnt have been even interested. Then another girl walked by mumbled something, then a tall white guy walked by tapping his wrist like it was a watch there. Then turned around and stood there until we stopped talking then walked away. Will not shop again.

We took are Parrleeyy on a journey today and forgot his food. The offered single servings in the brand we normally purchase for the house. He was grateful for the option. Cashier with blond curls had great customer service. COVID concerns pay with exact change. Card payments with no cash back. Wear your mask and our pets/companions are still welcome inside the store..

I had my mini schnauzer groomed at this location last night and he came home with a bloody chest. Attempted to contact customer service through their website only to be rerouted to the same customer service page (without email/contact info) over and over again. Never again. UPDATE: I was able to contact customer service to let them know of my situation. The Tacoma PetSmart grooming salon did reach out to me within 24hrs to attempt to rectify the situation which I appreciated.

I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Most loving dog owners know how hard it is to find…read morea grooming salon you can truly trust. I found K9 Grooming through Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We drive 30 minutes to get here and I won't lie, the salon is pricey. It usually costs me around $300 with trip for a standard Aussie and mini Aussie regular groom. But it is absolutely worth it. My dogs are my babies. We have a 6-year-old Aussie we've had since he was a puppy, and we recently added our rescue mini Aussie who is now 8. Our rescue has extreme anxiety from her past trauma, including living in a hoarding situation. The team here treats both of our dogs like family. I've never once worried about the way they're cared for. The salon is spotless. Anytime I walk into a grooming place that smells like urine or feces or is chaotic with constant barking, it's an instant red flag for me. K9 Grooming is completely different. It's clean, calm, and you can even watch your dogs being groomed so there's no mystery about how they're treated. Recently our neighbor warned us about fleas in the area, so I called K9 as a concerned pet mom. They were so helpful. They told me they'd start with a regular bath and, if they found any fleas, they'd do the treatment and call us so we could prep the house. Sure enough, they found a few a went forward with the flea bath. They provided me with helpful information and next steps. I sincerely appreciate the level of care, transparency, and customer service the staff provide. I could never take my dogs anywhere else after coming here.

Australian shepherds have very thick double coats, she requires grooming at least every six weeks. From the front desk, all the way back to the groomers they're always so professional, and Mila is always so extremely eager and happy to go there; that says so much. I've had my fair share of very bad grooming experiences, with this very dog. K9 Design Grooming Salon has changed my perspective and Mila's perspective on grooming experiences. We used to live extremely close to the Salon, but we recently bought a house in Olympia and still make the drive! We love K9 Design Grooming!!

My neighborhood dog group decided to throw a little Saint Patrick's Day party here for us, family…read moreand friends. I was told she was offered a great deal for the rental and some homemade dog treats. Parking was a bit confusing as the parking nearby the business was full and there was a spot that we think was free to use but not sure. As we entered, we were greeted by a staff member who let us in and the space is huge! There were plenty of toys, a dog pool, and little obstacles for dogs to enjoy to their hearts' content! They even have a hose to fill up the pool or just have your dogs chase around. There were little cubbies and lots of areas to hang leashes, coats, and other stuff on. They had Youtube videos playing too. The dog treats were so creative. They had cannoli, biscuits, and much more. All of our dogs seemed to have enjoy the treats greatly, no treats were left behind. All of the dogs seemed to be enjoying themselves as they just had so much to do or other dogs to play with. Definitely look forward to coming back here to throw future dog parties as our group loves to do little events for our fur babies.

This place is super cute decor with friendly and kind staff, but what makes me nervous is how tiny…read moreit is with how many dogs they allow. It made me wonder about the ratio balance between humans vs dogs. I had dropped my dog off for a behavioral assessment, as we have trips coming up and I'm looking for boarding care. This is not where I'm personally comfortable leaving my pup, as the ratio seemed to be 1 human to 15 or 20 dogs in an indoor-only, less than 1500sq foot space. The good news is they are so kind and nice humans, if I was rating them they'd earn 5+++ stars as I'd leave my dog in their care anytime! The problem I had was the physical space (super tiny!) and the ratio of dogs, as they allowed 3 or 4 pups to greet my dog while 15 or so were in a hallway-type space patiently waiting and sooooo well-behaved, to greet and play. The space for playing is very limited, about 1/2 the size of a classroom, and while it's clean and the staff are super lovely, it's probably not the best fit for our pup who loves to play fetch and run. Parking is also super tricky in this neighborhood, as there isn't a parking lot or spaces reserved for the business.

We had a deeply upsetting experience with Wet Nose and feel compelled to share our story so others…read morecan make informed decisions. We adopted our dog after being told she was completely healthy with no medical concerns. Within 24 hours of bringing her home, she became critically ill and required three days of emergency hospitalization for severe infection, dehydration, and significant weight loss. We spent nearly $4,000 in vet bills to save her life. After requesting her medical records (which were only given to us AFTER we adopted her), we learned she had undergone major abdominal surgery just days before adoption, including treatment for a ruptured spleen and torn ligaments. She was prescribed medications that were never provided to us (or even disclosed to us) and her discharge paperwork clearly required 10 days of strict bed rest -- yet we adopted her on day five. She had been transported from Texas through Saving Hope Animal Rescue, and it is unacceptable that a dog recovering from major surgery was transported and placed for adoption without full medical disclosure or proper follow-up care. When we contacted Wet Nose for accountability and assistance with medical bills, they refused to help and claimed they were unaware of her medical history. Any responsible rescue should obtain complete medical records and ensure a dog is medically cleared before adoption. I even contacted local shelters asking if this was standard practice, and they were completely shocked at how this situation was handled. I know we are not the only story of this happening. Please do your research on this shelter, there are hundreds of Instagram, Facebook and reddit stories sharing similar experiences. Sharing my story isn't "online slander," it's transparency and holding people accountable. I love my dog so much and am glad she's on the mend, but this situation is completely unacceptable. Wet Nose clearly prioritized profit over animal safety.
