absolute best Pet Smart we have shopped at. They care for and are educated about the pets they sell. Its apparent in the hermit crab tank. Humidity was correct, they had both salt and fresh water. Everything looked correct in their habitat which is refreshing to see considering all the misunderstanding of these particular pets. This Pet Smart understands they are not throw away pets but require specific care for them to not only survive but thrive. Bravo to Seiverville, TN PetSmart! read more

This is another store that you get hit or miss service. We have been here several times and each time is a different experience. I don't​ think I will be shopping here again. I mean you go to a store because you want it now​ and are willing to pay more, but you should get some customer service​. We have gone​ there looking to adopt and it is super hit or miss. They have nice cats, but the people there are at times rude and other times super nice. Needless to say, ​we are going to go to the shelter to find us a pet. read more

This is a review for the grooming with Krystal. She did an amazing job on my Pomeranian and Maltese. She did exactly what I had asked for and quite frankly in the last ten years of getting g my dogs groomed they couldn't look cuter. I would definitely Bring them back to her. The parking and pet area outside is crazy littered with cigarette butts and looks horrible. There is no place to dispose of butts as folks potty their dogs. In fact not one store in that whole mall has a butt disposal container. Can someone please make arrangements to supply and maintain a cigarette disposal container. Thanks!! read more

This is probably one of the worst Pet Smart I have ever been to. There is about one associate working at the cash register and they don't want to leave their post to help you with anything in the back. They have no one to help you lift the heavy dog kennels when you are a woman with small kids. I struggled to the front with a large dog kennel and cut my hand getting it off the shelf. I have never seen a PetSmart where you can not get any help. They can't even answer your questions. I am very disappointed and hope this dog kennel works and I don't have to go back. read more

I purchased 4 items from Petsmart today. I was overcharged for 2 items. I was charged $24.99 for a $19.99 dog chain. I had the cashier fix that mistake before I left the store. When I got in my car and found the other error. Petsmart had charged me $19.99 for a toy that was $14.99. I went back into the store and they fixed that problem. Both of the items purchased had the price listed clearly. I wonder how many times Petsmart does this to their customers. I will not be shopping at Petsmart anymore. read more

Traveling from Columbus Ohio to Florida w/ 12 year old Toy Poodle. Sir has been groomed @ our local Pet Smart for the past nine years (Banfield for seven) I ran out of time for grooming but didn't give it much thought as I've seen Petsmart advertised all or most of the way down. After a week on the road his coat is to long for the increasing temperatures. No big deal as I pulled up Petsmart near me & boom ...one w/in miles of our KOA in Newport Tennessee. Using app appointment was set for the following day at the Sevierville TN. location. After one call to confirm, one call to assess his heart condition (stated in my notes)another to confirm they had received the "release" faxed in by his vet I have now received booth text & email conformation of said appointment. A forth & final call from Petsmart mgr. saying they would not do his grooming by express or any other manner. Other grooming around but schedules booked up for four days out. Thanks Petsmart like our RV our patronage will be moving on down the road to greener pastures. read more

This is the worst pet smart I have ever been to. Everyone in the grooming department comes off very judgmental and rude. They ask you questions as if you are a groomer...Do you want him to be a 4? I, who am not a groomer, have zero idea what that means, they need to translate their words into better understanding terms. I then showed them a photo of what I wanted my dog to look like and she took my phone and showed her coworker. They whispered over the photo and acted like it was impossible to cut him that way. (basic shih tzu cut) Yet he was cut this way since he was a puppy. My dog has never had a issue being groomed in 9 years and they called to tell me that "he was under stress and they couldn't groom him." My dog does get scared and Carries a lot of anxiety but this has NEVER been a issue with any other grooming salon. (Even other pet smarts) It seems to me they just wanted to get out of work. Either way they are very rude, judgmental and overall not friendly. My dogs have used different groomers over the years and these groomers are the only one he's been this stressed around. read more

Some of the pet stores you walk into have that 'pet' smell and this one definitely doesn't considering people are bring in their fur babies. The store is clean and well stocked. The staff is very friendly and seemed to be able to answer everyone's questions. Slightly high priced but worth it. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a PetSmart for grooming. I had a 2:00 appointment to have my dog groomed. When I arrived the girl that was to do the grooming was not there yet. Another very nice lady started to do the paperwork. After about 10 minutes past our appointment time the groomer arrived with a very unhappy expression on her face. When she was told that we were her appointment she did not even acknowledge that we were there. We were reluctant to leave our dog but did so anyway. Usually in 2 hours or less our dog is done. After 3 hours we went to pick him up. The groomer was outside "vaping" and when we went inside our dog had not even been started to be groomed. They said it would be another hour. Totally irresponsible. Will not use PetSmart again anywhere read more

Made an appt to get my 13.5 year old 3lb yorkie. Explained to them that he is old and very nervous and that we usually did mobile grooming and that he did not like the kennels. Appt was for 230. We arrived after about 5 min the girl that was to groom him came out and started the paper work. she told me it would be 4 hours! I ask why she said she had one in front of him. I questioned why we were told 230 if she already had one. She then told me they staggered them which to me translated that they bath then stick them in kennel with dryer on them. this is unacceptable. We left. Find a local groomer not Petsmart. read more

Hmmmm. I have 5 dogs. The last time I brought the troops in for nails and bathes . Their prices had gone up quite a bit Almost doubled. I have found a new groomer. If Pet smart keeps upping their prices. More pet owners will look elsewhere for their pet's needs. I sure have!! read more

I love PetSmart's grooming services. The nicest people work there and every groomer I've had does an outstanding job on my Yorkie. The online process of scheduling an appointment is easy and convenient. Danielle did the last grooming and I love how she did Gracie. They are timely too. You don't need to worry that your dog is caged for hours. Love them! read more

I wouldn't even give one star if there was another option. I have used Pet Smart for a few years and have always loved them, until I used the one in Sevierville, TN. Took my dog for a $50 groom. When I got there, his face wasn't trimmed correctly. Groomer said she tried but he would not cooperate. This has NEVER happened. I had him there 4 months ago and the groomer did a good job.. this groomer was unpleasant, unprofessional, and even Charged me more money. I would up paying $70.88 for a groom because instead of calling me and asking about additional services, she just did it and decided to charge me. What if I didn't have the money?? I did not agree to anything extra, and I should have been called. This will go up on Facebook and Twitter also. I will NEVER use Sevierville PetSmart again!! I couldn't even reach a manager to discuss, because the lady I paid said they don't have anything to do with the grooming department. What a waste if time, and money. I am so upset that now my shi tzu looks like he was cut by a very inexperienced person, at home! read more

I had bought a collar for my dog after surgery it was inflatable so something told me NOT TO BUY IT! But I did because my dog has been very uncomfortable with his cone! The employees told me that they'd return it if my dog happened to chew it or pop it and sure enough not even two days later that's what happened. I come over after work to it chewed to pieces so I called and asked about it and they said NORMALLY they wouldn't return something because the dog chewed it which I completely understand that is not their fault but they said they would this time because I was told by the employee they'd return it. I couldn't been more happy with my after experience.. the cashier asked no questions as I continued to try to explain myself which was great because I didn't want to have to explain myself in front of other guest or feeling uncomfortable. The most comfortable experience I've ever had. I don't normally return stuff because of how uncomfortable the feeling can be but I was so pleased with how everything went as I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack.
