I paid over $175 today to get my two German Sheppards de-furred. I dropped them off at 1pm and didn't get a call to pick them up until past 5pm (problem number one). When I arrived to pick them up, one of my dogs was still slightly wet and ran between my legs, immediately covering my jeans in semi-damp hair. everywhere. Both my dogs were still shedding by the fist full! After paying 175 dollars and waiting over 4 hours! THATS BONKERS! I understand if my dogs were nervous but I expected much more for that amount of money and time. I should add that the workers were good with the dogs but there is no way I would recommend any dog go here for grooming services. I now have to go home and brush my dogs after paying almost 200 dollars after tax. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO PETSMART for grooming! I took my 16 year old Cairn terrier and my 8 year old Scottie to Casey for grooming. I was told they had some matting and might need to shave a few spots. When I picked them up, they were COMPLETELY SHAVED!!!!!! Anyone with Scottie terriers knows they get some dreadlocks and Cairn Terriers have double coats. Never in all their lives have these digs needed to be shaved. The groomer was just too lazy to take the time to groom them properly!!!!! I will NEVER shop or use Petsmart services again. I should have known better when I was able to book a sane day appt for them. read more

I was in today to check out items for my new cat that is coming, as well as change foods for my current cat. I worked with Robert first and he was very helpful in answering my questions about litter, food, and grooming supplies. I was then aided by Nancy who was so helpful and talked to me about food ideas. She has a Maine coon which is what I'm adopting and so she was able to relate a lot of information to me. She gave me some coupons for my purchase and I saved $6.00. They were very helpful and friendly. read more

Wonderful service! I went in there yesterday to get supplies for our new rescue. I was approached at least 6-7 times to see if we needed help. They helped us with knowledge on food, clearance items, and how to get coupons and save. We will definitely be visiting again! read more

I received a grant for my classroom so I could set up a fish tank. We had a small one that fascinated the students. We also noticed that it was good incentive to get work done. For example, finish that assignment and you can go look at the fish. We study the fish and the habitat and read books about fish. It is also very calming when my students are stressed. (I teach special education). Yavapai county awarded a grant and we went shopping at Pet Smart. The employees were wonderful and helped us find everything we needed. They even helped find us some discounts so we could stay within the grant budget. Edi was especially helpful. We will be back to buy fish once our set-up is complete and our water has been tested. After making TWO expedited grooming appointments, both for 3pm on Thursday and Friday- at booking I was told explicitly to ignore the time of 2.45 they texted me as that would be incorrect and that I was to come at 3. I arrived today at 2.55pm to be VERY rudely told that I was 10 minutes late and that they NEVER groom a dog when they come in 10 mins late...... I tried to explain that I was NOT late that I was 5 mins early to the time that was given me. Alex's response was very unprofessional, condescending and rude, basically calling me a liar........ it was VERY unpleasant. The manager came in just to tell me I had to reschedule..... which I did. I was rescheduled to Monday at 2.00 pm only to get a text from Petsmart 10 mins later that my appointment was at 1.45on Monday I called them to verify EXACTLY what time the appointment was ohh the lady said the computer does this - just ignore the text and come in at two......... I have no words. How can a company work like this? And more importantly have employees like Alex who knows this happens be so condescending and rude......... come on Petsmart you can do MUCH better. read more

Took my dog just to get nail trim, Sunday must be the new groomers practice day, they had no clue how to use the dremal or how much nail to trim off and it was $14.00 now I have to go someplace with more experienced groomers and have them done right. Sorry I put my dog thru that. read more

Our black lab Maxie loves having Cheryl pamper him at Petsmart in Prescott. She takes extra care with him and he is beautiful when she is finished. We make the hour drive to Prescott just so Maxie can see Cheryl. read more

Very nice associates, but way understaffed. There are never more than three associates on the floor at any given time, and they are usually standing around talking. Just trying to get crickets took over a half hour, I will not be going back due to the fact they can't even help you in the order you came in. Very dissatisfied, think I will be going to petco, even though their more expensive at least I won't be wasting my time. read more

Thyme is the BEST groomer ever!!! She is caring and compassionate and really takes care of my dogs. She is a beautiful person inside and out! I have lived all over the USA and Thyme is by far the BEST! I have two Mini Schnauzers and when I leave them with her I know they will be treated well and taken care of. I would definitely suggest anyone who may need a groomer to book an appointment with Thyme! She is AWESOME!!!! read more

I was appalled at the rudeness of a woman at the adoptions area today (2/23/2014) from Miss Kitty's Cat House in Prescott, AZ. My girlfriend lost her beloved cat of 17 years at the beginning of the year and we've been looking to adopt a kitten. She has been heartbroken from the loss. We decided to go to Petsmart and look for adoptions. We walked up to the cages in the adoption area and sanitized our hands as suggested by the sign and began interacting with the kittens in the cages. About 2 minutes after us doing this, a woman approached us very loudly slamming a bottle of hand sanitizer onto the top of the cage and said very loudly and rudely, "If you're going to be doing that at least sanitize your hands first!" My girlfriend and I very respectfully stated we had when we first showed up at the cages. She then began to interrogate us as to whether we actually did or not. She then walked away after she finally asked us 7 questions regarding our use of hand sanitizer. A few minutes later she was returning with a kitten someone else was holding and my girlfriend asked if she could hold it. She again responded rudely, by saying. "Well, are you adopting today?" My girlfriend said, "No, not today, but..." the woman didn't even let her finish her sentence before stating in an irritated tone, "Well we don't like to pass the cats around if they aren't getting adopted!" My girlfriend was looking at adopting early next week, or earlier if we found one she wanted. But the rudeness of this women didn't even allow her to state this. I cannot believe the disrespectful and rude attitude this woman showed towards us. We were looking at adopting, and perhaps even her cats. I was even more shocked that Petsmart would even allow people from Miss Kitty's Cat House to treat Petsmart customers/possible adobtees in such a way. We left the store with my girlfriend in near tears because of this blatant rudeness. I will NOT be returning to this store and will be glad to take my business to Petco instead and will definitely be letting my friends, family, and people at my work know about this event and to make sure they do not use this store in the future. Especially if these people from Miss Kitty's Cat House are allowed to continue being this way to people in the store. read more

Fabulous service. Wish they had better sales for Memorial Day wknd. Got some stuff & returned a used cone (that I used & cut). Register guy said returned items need to be in selling condition. Not true, store has a lenient return policy. If your pet doesn't like it, you got 30 days to return with receipt, used or unused!!! read more

IThe employees at Pet Smart were so helpful and friendly. From the manager on down. We will definitely continue to shop there for our pets needs. However, the woman named Lisa who is there on Saturdays with small dog adoptions is rude, snippy, unfriendly and curt. Unfortunately it leaves a bad taste in one's mouth for the entire store, even though I know she is not a representative of Pet Smart. We were there to shop on four consecutive Saturdays and expressed an interest in a small black Terrier. Three times she did her best to not adopt the dog out to us. The third time we were there, she told us to bring our German Shepherd to the store to see if the GSD got along with the little terrier. So we did load up the GSD and bring her down to Pet Smart, and Lisa did not even have the little Terrier there for the meet and greet. We live a ways away so it was an effort to come there with our GSD. Not upset with Pet Smart at all, but sure not happy with Lisa and her so called small dog adoption agency. read more
