Took my doodle in today and they did a fantastic job! (Elise specifically) He's a wiggler and I tried to shave him myself at home but that was not happening. She got him all clean and all the mats are gone, which was no small task. Everyone there was nice to talk to and the service was quick. No complaints at all. She even took the time to brush out his ear fur so he had a cute fluffy face. I expected him to be fully shaved with the amount of matting he had, but the effort and skill put in is great.

I take it back. My dog was screaming in pain for a month after his cut. They LIED and did not do his anal glands. They were so bad they were going to burst! What an absolute rip off of my money and tip. I was informed by another groomer that they hit dogs with brushes and pull the leash way to tight around the dogs necks. Will not ever trust them with my animal again. Not even for a nail trim.

if i could do zero stars, trust me i would. I took my two shih tzu's here for well over a year. many times they came back with multiple nips and bald spots. i wrote it off as just accidental i know doggies can move around a lot. my oldest puppy is 9 and a few days after a groom we had to take her to the emergency vet at 10 o'clock at night because they lied about doing her anal glands and it had gone on for so long they were about to burst. my poor baby girl was in so much pain. once again i wrote it off and just took them to the vet for their glands. i think the final straw was me walking in to pick them up and visually seeing how mean they were to my male. he got excited to see me and was barking and apparently that was too much for their employee to handle. they rolled their eyes and huffed and puffed and aggressively pulled him out of the cage. will never ever go here again i gave way too many chances. they're constantly rude on the phone and just horrible costumer service. i should've known there was a reason they were never booked out. also i got yelled at for being late to an appointment even though google says they don't open until 9. when i showed the employee her response was "well who is that? we don't own that website?" no ma'am. don't think you own google nor any brains. i added pictures of my fur balls because who could be so mean to such cute lil marshmallows. neglectful, harmful, the opposite of animal lovers.

After a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience at Doggie Delight Wags to Whiskers got my Maltese in within two hours and did a great job. You can tell they have a lot of grooming experience and groom the dog based on their breed, will be a returning customer.

Take a pass on this groomer. I asked them to trim/blend the fine black strands on his back and not to cut his face/head and this is what they did! Of course, they're not responding to my call, so it's a No to customer satisfaction.

I have to large dogs a Great Pyrenees and an Hungarian Kuvaz both white as snow. If I try to bath the Great Pyrenees it takes hours with me being exhausted and dripping wet. She's a good dog and seems to actual enjoy me attempting to bath her as she loves my response as she shakes. LOL They know what's up when I walk them into Cal Ranch and start dragging me to the Groomers. Yes they like Amy and her other employees. I've tried other groomers in town but didn't feel comfortable with how they spoke to me and the fact that I wasn't allowed to see where my dogs would be kept. Amy has a large doggy play pen in full view. Been going there for about 8 years and will not go any place else.

On my most recent visit (couple of days ago), I was surprised to see the store has very little stock. Not sure what's going on, but there was far more empty space on the display racks than there was product. If I had actually needed something, it would not even have been worth going in. Additionally, the entire time I browsed the store, neither of the two workers behind the counter bothered to ask if they could help me. They only said "hi" in response to my first saying hello.

During that time have been dog mom to six dogs, four of which have visited the store with me. We drive up from the valley several times a year. Upon our most recent visit a gentleman decided to tell me all about my dog, her teeth, and what she can and cannot eat. She's been eating WB treats for her entire 14 years of life. If we are on a trip up there without her, we bring some back to her and her sister. If she is with us, she gets to pick. This day she wasn't interested in any of the handheld offerings, so he continued telling me about her teeth. The cold, hard truth is - my dog reads me. That's her deal. She knew I didn't like him, so she didn't like him, so she didn't want any of his selections. We wound up spending like $5, against his better advice, which is far less than we usually spend. Hell, we bought our first dog stroller there many moons ago - back before they were a common thing. I was really unimpressed this visit and will think twice before going in again. Thanks for nearly ruining one of our favorite spots. :/ (He mentioned he's the "only staff.")

It's unfortunate I have to write this review in the first place. My dogs have been going to this…read morebusiness before the second owner who took over in 2015. The previous owner was extremely personable, polite and displayed gratitude for her customers. We never had any issues until the second owner took over. At first, she was great, very bland personality but did a good job so we continued to patronize her business. About 9 months ago I was on my way to take my dog to get groomed and he had started to develop symptoms similar to he ate something bad or was ill. He began excessively vomiting and seemed very lethargic. He had not ever experienced anything like this before and it was so sudden so I became concerned took him to the vet and they told me he needs to rest and lots of fluids so I had to cancel my appointment. Of course, I missed the appointment as I was at the vet, it was the first time I have ever missed an appointment. The vet said he needed rest and didn't think it would be wise to take him in case he had the flu. So I called the owner apologizing profusely and she was not understanding she did not care about the well-being Of my animal. I did not want to risk getting any other pets sick! You'd think she would appreciate me not wanting to possibly get other dogs sick. Fast forward to this incident I had an appointment scheduled for February 18th at 9 am written both on my paper calendar and my phone calendar. I walk in and she abrasively says your appointment yesterday and I apologized and said there must have been a misunderstanding because I wrote it down on two calendars. *** SIDE NOTE***this same incident has happened to SEVERAL customers according to her yelp reviews and googles reviews so I am NOT the only customer this has happened to as she claimed I was the only one ) *** She goes into saying all these unprofessional and abrasive things and begins to make comments about my life how I need to manage my and priorities differently. Mind you, I run several businesses and a family so that was not relevant obviously she felt the need to pick apart someone to make herself feel better. I understand how challenging it can be to run an independent small business however it's all about being professional, having grace, post your rules and regulations in case of a missed appointment as salons and other groomers so. She obviously seems to have deeper issues and I believe that is a reason why she hashed out so incredibly volatile. I will never bring my business to doggie delight and all the other customers who I referred years ago to get their pets groomed as a result of my experience will take their business elsewhere.

Will never take my pups there again. The groomer has a nasty, snotty disposition. I think she…read moreshould find another line of work. My dogs have been going to groomers all of their lives and are not afraid to go, but they always trembled, and tried to climb up my shoulder when I took them there. Made me wonder if she abused them. In addition, if you miss an appointment, she does not call to find out where you are, remind you of the appointment, or attempt to reschedule you, but instead will not reschedule until you have paid for the missed appointment. I have known about four other people who she did this too that no longer go to her. I would give her zero stars if it were possible.
