We brought our dog Scottie to PetSmart Grooming for a bath, brush, teeth cleaning, and nail grinding, and we had Jess B. She was so sweet and truly took the time to understand exactly what we wanted. You can tell she really cares about the pets she works with! Scottie looked and smelled amazing, and we felt so comfortable leaving Scottie in her hands. I took my puppy in for his first grooming. The bath and brush furminator deluxe, but that is not what I got. The consultation was quiet as the attendant didn't explain what to expect or ask if there was anything she should know prior to service. They had him for just under 2 hours and when I picked him up he did not have a scarf on which is included in the deluxe package, so I asked if he didn't like the scarf. The attendant (who was not who groomed my dog) asked if I got the deluxe and I confirmed I did. If this is something that comes with the package, why do I have to ask for it? When I got home and check him out further, I noticed his nails were jagged and didn't look like they had been grinded, also included in the package. His ears were not cleaned and his teeth didn't seem like they had been brushed. Again also included in the package. The only saving grace is that the furmintor wash and brush helped so much with his shedding. I immediately noticed the difference when I picked him up. However it would have been nice if my pup received all of the services I paid for. I'll stick to grooming him at home. read more

I will never send my pet to be groomed at the Moorestown Pet Smart every again. He was literally cut and the groomer denied it until my daughter showed her the injury. My poor dog is literally in pain and she cut through the skin. My daughter did get a full refund and they are covering vet services as they should. Please think twice about taking your precious pet to this groomer they are obviously unskilled or don't care about how they handle the pets left in their care for grooming. read more

Walked in there and had an appointment for months only to have them tell me there was no appointment. When I got home they called and said they made a mistake. That's not the worst. I came in to pick my dog up early and they were holding her down, nearly torturing her and her face was BLEEDING. Never going back. However, the store manager came in and apologized and gave us a refund along with a gift certificate. He was understanding and felt embarrassed. read more

I wish there were an option to give 0 stars! This afternoon I took my 2 European retrievers to be groomed and what a nightmare! Not only did the groomers mislead me by driving the prices up without my knowledge or consent but they were completely careless in caring for my babies. So after arguing with a very rude woman for 25+ minutes at the register and paying 173$ for lord knows what we came home. Upon looking them over we noticed that my male dog had one of his paw pads burned pretty badly, assuming it occurred while they were doing his nails!!!! We were NOT INFORMED that they have burned him at all! I'm furious! I wish I could add the photo to show everyone. I will NEVER use their grooming service again and won't be shopping for our pets needs at that location ever again! Stay far away from that place. read more

A huge store that is always well kept. Great selection of fish and small animal supplies, I always find the timothy for my chinchillas nice and fresh here. Mainly a doglovers place, they do have a nice selection of cat food but none of the premium brands. Stick to Bills World of Pets for that. I do get cat litter here, as they have 40lb containers and usually a sale on them. They could use an upgrade on the cat toy section, as they have one aisle compared to literally ten for dogs, but hey, I've kind of gotten used to that. read more

My Maltese, Buddy, is a rescue with a history of abuse and anxiety issues. I only trust Buddy's grooming to Kendal at this PetSmart location. He is fabulous- made Buddy fall asleep the first time that he was on the grooming table. Buddy always looks great when he comes out, and I trust Kendal to treat him well. read more

I placed an online order for Digestive care ID dog food and had to go through hoops to get the vet to send me a prescription and then I get an email saying that my order was canceled. When I called the store the associate told me my order was canceled because they dont have the chicken stew flavor they have a different kind. When I said it doesnt have to be the chicken stew flavor the associate said well that is what was on the order. I asked why I wasnt called to see if modifying the order was okay associate said "I dont think we are allowed to do that ma'am". Oh wait so you're not allowed to provide good customer service? So then I guess the store does not care about their customers or if the customers will ever return. read more

Visited the Moorestown, NJ PetSmart in July 2021. The Manager was very helpful, freindly and polite. My daughter was there to purchase an exotic animal with all of the supplies needed. After about a week she had to return everything due to an unforeseen allergy. There was no hassle, complaint, or partial refund nonsense involved in the process unlike MANY stores. They even took the return of opened or used items. I was impressed to say the least. A company is only as good as its employees. And this particular store went well beyond a typical experience. They did well grooming Duke (my bichon) but I dont understand why they charged me the $7.00 fee for his hair being matted??? They charged me the fee last visit and I understand--we had been on vacation and we hadn't brushed his head in two weeks and we didn't give the fee a second thought. We were charged the fee this visit (10-29-2017). And I can 100% guarantee his hair WAS NOT matted in any form. Yes, he does have a thicker, curly coat of hair....but it does not mean it was matted. Also, on the paperwork it has a section which Asks the customer to initial to allow the Matt fee. I initialed it because I figured that would not apply to us. I did not dispute/argue the charge because I am not the type of person to complain....rather, I will leave this review and simply take my business elsewhere. read more

In the past they made pets and pet owners feel special to go in to their store but no so much any more. The customer service has diminished and there is nothing special about this place any longer. It really is a shame in a day when customer service should be the number one focal point to retain jobs within stores. A bit over priced, but three stars because they have a great selection. I look at it as I pay more for the fact that I get socialize my dog while shopping for his needs. Almost gave them 2 or 1 stars because of the staff/services. The staff are okay. A bit pushy to sell you a puppy starter kit. Some are very nice and helpful, others are just interested in your dog. A bit misleading also, sold me what I was told was a "bull tendon" that's great for chewing on. Bought my puppy another one and actually read the label - it's a "bull pizzle". I'll let you look up what that is, but I'm a little annoyed that was generalized as a "tendon". Will never utilize their services again - was told their puppy play time was for puppies and free, after I got in "the ring" I found out there were 9 year old dogs and a $10 a person charge. There were about 10+ dogs and 15+ people in the little training area they have - very crowded for dogs that are not familiar with one another in my opinion. Please note, this review is for the Moorestown location only. The Cherry Hill location has excellent grooming services and if I were to use PetSmart's services again, I'd go there. read more

This review is strictly on their grooming services and the one groomer I used - Yvonne. Unprofessional. With a horrible attitude. This is not the first time I use Petsmart grooming, however first time in this location. I usually ask them to leave about one inch so a long haircut for my dog since it's both my preference and it's winter. My dog did not arrive in the best condition, which I am very aware of, she had mattings, therefore I asked the groomer to check first to see if she needs extra time combing which from other petsmart I learned cost extra. She checked and said the condition was severe so she recommended to shave her. She explained conditioners shampoos that could possibly help, I agreed. When I was called to pick up my dog, I saw the "add on" bill, I questioned her and her answer was "did you ask me the price?" I booked online for a set price, during our conversation not once she mentioned there was an add on and would cost a lot more. And she continued, "or I can charge you extra for extra time I spent on her matting." She was done within 2 hours so I didn't know what extra time she was talking about and my dog was shaved so what did she really do with her mattings? Even the other groomer heard that part and helped me explained to their manager that Yvonne did said that and was puzzling and rude. If there is an "add on," why would you not disclose to your customers and just talked as if it's included? Isn't that more of a scam? Eventually the manager was able to solve the issue and was polite. However I will NEVER bring my business to this location and if anyone happens to see this, DO NOT USE YVONNE unless you're ok with surprise add on and a bad attitude. God knows how she treats animals if that's her attitude with customers. I can only hope my dog was treated right. Groomers, if you don't truly love animals or if you hate your job, please quit and find another job. It's better for you and for the animals. Note: another groomer helped me put harness back on my dog and was very patient and sweet, so my review is strictly on the one groomer Yvonne. The manager was also polite and nice. read more

I went to buy elk antlers and items to brush my dogs teeth with. The elk antlers are poorly organized with prices all over the board. I found one in the $10.99 container, and checked the label - said medium. When I got to the checkout I was charged $18.99 - the price for the larger antler. After waiting in line to return the item (yes, I had to go to the back of the line and wait again to handle this), there was no apology or attempt to understand why it rang up more than was indicated by the size tag and the container tag. I went across to the Concord Pet Supplies next to Shop Rite (other side of the street and down a block) and got the same sized elk-antler for $10.99 -- but they gave me a $3 discount as well (not sure why but not complaining). I will not be returning to this PetSmart in the future. I'll go to Concord Pet Supplies or to the Petsmart near the Costco in Moorestown where I've never had this kind of issue. read more
