I just moved to LR and took my Goldendoodle for a much needed grooming after a few months. They shaved her down all over and had some mats on her ears; when they were cutting them they clipped both of her ears on the ends. She was shaking her ears constantly for days and they're just now starting to heal. Idc if there are mats or not, for $145 my dog shouldn't be hurt even a little bit. We saw a kitten that we were thinking of adopting, and asked if we could see it out of the cage to hold it. The sales clerk said that you can only see the cat out of the cage when you adopt it. I personally would like to hold it first. Then I asked why isn't the more handling and scratches, attention and love better for a kitten? They Love cuddling! I do not recommend bringing your pup here for grooming. The groomers here have little to no experience. I booked my dog here for his usual bath and full haircut and I came back with a hairless and half-shaved dog. Within an hour they called back and told me he was ready for pickup and that they could not complete the job. I have never experienced anything like this. They recommended that I take my dog to the animal hospital to finish the cut. WTH!!! I called the nearest animal hospital and they told me that this is not their first time hearing about Petsmart's Grooming salon's lack of experience. If you can find another place to get your pup groomed I recommend doing so. read more

Took my girl here last week and the groomer was totally inexperienced. I think they are hiring people with no experience to train. Groomer dropped a razor in my girl's white coat and did a shoddy job on her nails. I asked them to just trim around her girlie bits and bum, but the groomer shaved her tummy. WTH! Dogs at grooming salon were crying, shaking, and extremely stressed!! A groomer named Tori yelled at a crying dog she was shaving, picked him up and took him to the back where nobody could see what she was doing. There were more dogs in the back yelping- it was awful! Do not take your dogs here!! I told one of the groomers that I wanted to cancel my appointment for my dogs after seeing all of this and they didn't seem to care. Because of the trauma that the dogs were exposed to, I refuse to take my dogs there again. Advice to PetSmart Leadership, you need cameras to watch your groomers! read more

I did LOVE this location, per the fact they always cut my Weiner dog's hair right and were all sweet to him. Karen, the groomer always requested to take care of Skunk Dog too. She was a sweet lady. The reason my review has changed to 5 stars to 1 is that I'm very upset with what happened to me on June 26, 2015, my two dogs appointments to be groomed. I made an appointment a week in advanced for that morning @ 7am to drop the boys off. Which is very convenient due to the fact my office is down the street. Mind you, I live 30 miles away from this actual location. I arrive and this very rude and unprofessional worker ( assuming cashier) is at the door. I state I'm here for grooming. She looks at me with this strange look and says "The groomers called everyone to cancel appointments yesterday because their systems are down." I told this person I didn't receive this call so what am I supposed to do? I live 30 miles away and can't take my dogs to work with me. She had nothing to say except there is "nothing I can do". I'm sorry but in my years of customer service you find a way to make sure the customer leaves happy. Maybe reschedule me, offer a discount, or compensate my two grooming's seeing this was their fault and made it inconvenient for me. No, I got nothing to help the situation. This has happened before where they stated they will call you when your pet is done, yet you get no call. I call them 6 hours after I drop off my dog ( 1 year prior) and ask if he is ready. They tell me "Why yes, he has been ready for 4 hours now." Excuse me?! 4 hours my dog has been in a cage just waiting and you fail to contact me? They of course try to give me an excuse and claim they called and left a message. LIES. That's all they are good at. I've given them 2nd chances, and they keep failing. I will no longer patronize their grooming facility ever again. Don't waste your time unless you like lack of communication when you're paying good hard money on a service for your fur babies. read more

We have taken our schnauzer there for the past 9 months and every time they do something that just isn't right. They'll either never call us to tell us he is finished, they will forget to clip his nails, or they will botch up the hair completely. When we first brought our dog for his first haircut here it wasn't even cut at all, his toes nails were not clipped or anything. So the second time I bring him here today I specifically requested THREE times for just a hair cut, bath and nail clipping. I had to pay extra for him to be done by 1 when his appointment was at 11 and then he wasn't even bathed he smelled just like he did when I brought him and I was then charged extra again for nail grinding when I did not ask for it (NOR WAS IT DONE) a $48 visit costed me $82 NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN WORST SERVICE EVER. I brought my dog in on 2-2-17 for a check up. I was forced to leave her and ensured that they would do a checkup. I have been coming here for almost 6 years and NEVER had to drop her off. My dog has been on the Wellness plan the entire time yet they don't give a sh!t to know her anymore since Dr. Bridges left. My wife picks the dog up and we're told that the dog is in great health, the issues I have told them about is due to a UTI and offered a DISCOUNTED script of $110. We refused the script and bought it online for $65. Like I said, they want $$$. My dog isn't getting any better and on 2-11-17 I take her to the ER Clinic in Maumelle/NLR where I find out that she's got a tumor the size of a cantaloupe. Amazing how the vet at Banfield missed this! I'm livid, I'm hurt and I'm now in pain because my "healthy" dog has only got days to live. She was put to sleep on the 14th of February after spending the last few days with me and the family and being showered with love and goodbyes and thank-yous. Banfield then has the audacity to tell me that I owe them money for the Wellness plan despite the fact that service was not given to us. They refuse to accommodate and acknowledge their greed and mistake in providing quality care to my dog. They personally called me to set up my dogs next hair cut, offering a $10 discount over the phone. After cutting my dogs hair, they said the discount promotion had ended and that I had to pay full price after luring me there with the promise of a discount over the phone. I was also upcharged $12 for a nail package that I did not ask for. This happened on a Sunday, and after calling the manager on Monday, I was told to deal with it because I had already paid for it and they didn't even care that I will no longer be coming there for my dogs future appointments! read more
