I took my dog there thinking he would have a full groom but i ordered wring and he just got a bash and blow out. They did trim his face. I paid and tipped and got him home and noticed a dark spot on his right side. On examining, he has a chunk if hair missing. See photos. Lady that has sold me fish multiple multiple times didn't allow me the last time because I was not 18, i understand that policy but the problem was her entire conversation with me was off putting and she was trying everything to get me out of buying the fish as soon as i pointed at the one i wanted, the age policy being brought up at the very end of the conversation. I don't really care for the incident as it was just guppies that i was going to get but if you have a policy, enforce it 24/7 and not just when you don't want someone to buy a fish. Well damn, these reviews are downright gnarly at times. I'm guessing turnover is the problem? As for me, I've had the opposite experience--friendly staff in the store (who helped me try to source treats), excellent grooming staff (Josette is super patient and helpful with my VERY trying dog), and none of the problems mentioned in some of these other reviews--the people at the salon seem to genuinely care about the dogs, the store is clean, etc. A lot of these negative reviews are from 4+ years ago, so take them with a grain of salt. As of late 2022, things at this store are fine. I should note: I am EXTREMELY particular about my dog and generally prefer a mom and pop shop, but Josette worked me in when I desperately in need and I have NO hesitation using her in the future. read more

Me and my 6 year old son had the best experience getting him gold fish 6 months ago and a tank and everything from a nice girl I kept them alive for 6 months no filtration system on my own idk what I did wrong went in tonight to get 3 more and she refused to sell them to me saying I didn't have a big enough tank she it's same size as the one they have them in and their employee helped me get all my stuff last time needless to say that have lost a customer for good she said gold fish should last decades when the last employee said people come in 1-2 times a month cause of them dying read more

Took my pups to PetSmart yesterday for grooming. Karen and Kristen took great care and did a fabulous job. They were super patient while I explained the temperament of each dog. The small Shepard is very scared and Kristen was able to bathe and brush her. The other two are very laid back but SO much hair. Karen took care of both of them and the results are fabulous!! I've only used this store for grooming and have always had a good experience for my large, fluffy dog. Today I had the Furminator treatment and my dog is beautiful! I've had this before at other PetSmarts and Petco and results were mixed, but today was perfect! Really grateful for the friendly grooming staff at this store. read more

I purchased over $100 worth of fish yesterday from their store. While in the store, I witnessed SEVERAL fish die right in front of my eyes and several tanks having over 5 dead fish in there for so long that other fish had begun eating them. I purchased 7 fish from them with the knowledge one of them (a Dalmatian Molly) was already sick. The 3 tetras and 3 orange dinos seemed ok. I quarantined all of them in separate tanks overnight just to be safe. 2 died within a few hour, one of which being the Dalmatian Molly I previously mentioned. I woke up this morning to 4 more of them dead (all 3 tetras and another orange dino). I spent over $100 and am left with 1 living fish. I've been told that I could nit receive a refund or any replacement fish. To say I was ripped off, is an understatement. read more

The salon has had some bad reviews but you have to remember some people are mean and will give bad reviews out of spite because they did not get their way with the company and were in the wrong and not necessarily the business. This salon has some great groomers who are very talented and very very hard working. read more

I have taken my 1 year old toy poodle to get her hair cut there many times.. they gave my dog a bad report card when she had only had a hair cut 2 times, so it was a new experience for her. In the past when I came to pick up my dog from the groomers she looked very scared. Bottom line, you shouldn't be working with animals if you're going to be mean and hateful to them. Especially when animals are in a place that they are not familiar with and are scared. You need to be understanding that these are fur babies. I finally found a girl I like that cuts my baby's hair. After the 3rd person I have tried my dog is happy. I want to feel as if my groomer will treat my dog as I would. Love on her and comfort her. Kether is the new girl I have used the past few time and I can tell she treats my dog as if it were her own and that is very important to me. I could tell a difference in the way my dog greets me when I pick her up. Kether does an excellent job with my dog! And I will continue to come back to only her! read more

I would NOT trust taking my dog to PetSmart. I know first hand how they treat the dogs behind that back door. I even seen one of the Groomers holding a Shih Tzu by the scruff of the neck. As soon as she knew I see her. She put the dog back down on the ground. Never take your dog there. Find a mom and pop shop. You will be thankful for it in the end. Stay away from PetSmart. While this salon is not a dump, the attitude of the staff truly leaves something to be desired. They seem to have little respect for customers, human and canine alike. And while our dog was adequately shampooed, the actual trimming was scraggly and did not look like the "schnauzer cut" we requested. If I could give the grooming department zero stars I would! Took my dog the other morning and they said it would be 2/3 hours. This was at 10am she wasn't done until 2pm. When I got her home I noticed her nails were not trimmed the hair on the pads of her feet was not trimmed her ears still had hair - which is supposed be pulled and trimmed. All over cut was very uneven. I would not recommend this store! I called the manager to report the horrible grooming service and all he said was OK I'll make sure to tell the grooming department to step up their game!! One here tonight to purchase some fish for my kids and instead of having a pleasant experience we got grilled by the sales associate on how many fish we already had in the size of our tanks. The groomers here are a joke. The one with the lip ring is rude and they make their dogs yelp often. If you want your dogs to be happy, take them anywhere but here. Awful communication between staff. When I booked my appointments, I was told I could drop off anytime in the morning. Then when I go to drop them off, they tell me I have missed my appointments. AND THEN proceed to be down right rude about it and wouldn't look me in the eye. Have an attitude and roll their eyes at me like I'm not good enough. I had the absolute worst experience here with my dog. The lady was strangling my dog with a leash in front of me. He was coughing and struggling and she just kept yanking him ( keep in mind he is a 7lb dog) I ended up not even getting him groomed after watching that. Not to mention she had the worst attitude and said "I'm not about to get up and chase this dog around I've had a long day" my dog only has three legs so i don't know how far away he could really get.... unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was an older lady with long blonde/grayish curly hair. Salon is usually very busy, and grooming is a time consuming process, so if you miss your appointment time by more than 45 minutes they may not have the time to groom your dog. The associates do the best they can but are not miracle workers, so if your dog is in poor condition(matting, fleas, ect.) they might not be able to give you the exact cut you want. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and even went out of their way to help me pick out a brush for my new puppy! Their dog trainer, Cat, is also very knowledgeable and was able to help us with potty training issues we were having. read more
