I have a senior rescue dog, Lexi, who is both blind and deaf. She is a super sweet older fur baby, but her physical issues often prove to be quite challenging - so much so, that four other groomers in the G'ville/D'ville area refuse to groom her. I was told I should have my sweet girl euthanized just because she cannot see nor hear and would therefore get easily startled when being sternly handled by groomers. Out of desperation and serious luck, I landed in the G'ville PetSmart Grooming Department and met Professional Groomer, Jenn, who holds a special passion for geriatric dogs. Jenn's compassionate disposition and her light handedness along with her obvious grooming skills turned out to be the answer to my prayers... NOT KIDDING. Jenn not only gave my geriatric Yorkie the best grooming job ever, she also gave my sweet girl new vivaciousness! My geriatric doggie jumps and wiggles and I can only attribute this newfound zest for life to Jenn's FANTABULOUS work! I simply cannot rave enough about Jenn! read more

I made a grooming appointment at this PetSmart location for my small dog, Polo with Liz. Not long before I dropped him off, I received a call that I had to pick up my dog because she couldn't continue to groom him. There is no excuse for the way that they treated me and my dog, imagine my surprise when I picked him up and they had completely shaved all the hair on his body but didn't touch his head or his tail. The only explanation they gave me was that she couldn't keep working with him because he was "moving too much" and she refused to fix the issue when I got there, simply because her shift was supposed to end soon. I don't understand how the management couldn't fix this. Obviously, I will never take any of my dogs back there again. You shouldn't either if you care about them, it is very clear that the staff in this location don't really care about you or your best friend. read more

Awful experience, will never return. First visit with 7 lb female Shin Tzu, asked for pkg without sprays, perfumes, no add-ons but fully groomed. Nothing done to paws at all, no nail trim, nothing. The cut was horrible, chunks missing and chunks of longer hair not trimmed. read more

Not truthful in service and prices over the phone. Upon arrival everything changed including price. I was ensured my dog would be dry upon pick up, not true my dog came home damp and wet on belly and inside legs. Will not use them ever again! Do not recommend . My dog is a husky they need to stick to tiny dogs!!! read more

My dog recently got groomed at PetSmart on Saturday 5/13. To start off, I never received a phone call to let me know she was ready for pick-up. She was dropped off at 11:30 am and picked up at 6:00pm. That is seven hours. She has been there two times prior to this visit and I had no problems. For this visit, I wanted the same exact thing she always gets. However, this time she walked out looking like a disaster. Then, I was charged more money due to her behavior. My dog is a small terrier that is not aggressive at all and never has been. Yet, she does get nervous in stressful situations and can be squeamish. If an individual cannot comfort or handle a nervous dog then they should not be a dog groomer. To make matters worse, after this visit she was experiencing intense, bloody, diarrhea. We went to the vet 5/15 for them to diagnose her with Stress Induced Colitis. However, the following day 5/16 at 4 am my dog was crying hysterically, was stiff as a rock, and could not walk. We went to the vet again where they said she suffered from a back injury. Moral of the story, a nervous dog is not a bad dog and needs to be handled with care. My little girl isn't even 1 yet ( she is 10 months old ) and she should not have experienced what she did. We will not be returning to PetSmart. read more

Both my dogs go to the groomers there. K and L do an excellent job on my little buddies and go out of their way to schedule them in. Just make sure you clearly describe what you want your furbaby to look like and the groomers there will do their best to accommodate. They treat the pets very gently too! I recommend this location. read more

First experience at this location will now result in my last experience with Petsmart as a company. Not only did this location incorrectly book my dogs' salon appointment to where I couldn't be seen on the day of (which I live over 1.5 hours away) but upon arriving the staff has the audacity to blame the new girl as not understanding grooming terms. Are you kidding me? If your new girl can't correctly book an appointment then A. Why is she even answering the phone? B. Why aren't appointments being confirmed? The general ineptitude is unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and go to any other grooming salon out there because this place will only waste your time. read more

Just came back from our first trip to PetSmart grooming--with our 6 month old 65 pound baby of a Labrador. She was terrified and Devon did a fantastic job calmly speaking to her and handling her gently. He even spent at least 10 minutes on the floor with her before her service, just getting her used to him and the new environment. He did a super job! Would give 10 stars if I could!!
