A great place to pick up dog toys, they have a huge selection along with great prices. It's funny how the pet owners are allowed to bring in their pets with them. Lots of different foods for all kinds of pets here. Always lots of great parking out front. Staff is very friendly. read more

Look, I didn't want to cause an issue but on 7/13/2020 I had a horrendous experience. I left my dog for a normal grooming session, and came to pick her up after. When I get home my poor Sugar was dripping blood. Apparently the groomer left a cut under her arm and didn't bother to tell me. So I ended up contacting them to find out the problem. They admitted to the issue and instead of apologizing to me they proceeded to tell my dog was the issue?!?!?! My dog never had a problem before with them. But when I call them out on them cutting up my dog, all of a sudden she's an issue. Horrible place. read more

Hands down the dirtiest tanks I have ever seen in my life. There is green algae growing in the substrate and up the walls of every tank. There are sensitive fish in filthy tanks dying and all they do is scoop them out and throw them in the garbage. These deaths could all be avoided by simply vacuuming the gravel once a week. Poor management. Poor maintenance, due to a combination of not staying on top of their filtration system and just not vacuuming the tanks. The thick green slime on the bottom and sides of the tanks is just horrible. The entire staff should be fired on the spot. The staff doesn't know which fish go with which fish (although they think they do) they often try to sell people tanks with fish that will outgrow the tanks and or die from ammonia poisoning and they are just generally lacking knowledge. The majority can't even identify a male fish from a female fish, which in certain species is very important to know. Every fish that I have ever bought from this place has died and or tried to die on me. I've brought home Ich, cotton mouth and multiple fish that have died within 24 hours. I have yet to lose 1 single fish outside of the 48 hour acclimation period from any Big Al's store... I will never buy any fish from this store, nobody should buy any fish from this store. I will buy dry goods when they have decent sales, but even that's rare. Big Als is your better bet. The staff knows what they are talking about and their fish are of a much higher quality. Petsmart just pays dumb kids to scoop dead fish out of their tanks (which happens a lot) and to put fish in bags. That's all...they think they know what they're talking about, but they don't have a clue. I wouldn't even buy fish on sale to rescue them from this store, I'd be afraid of bringing home yet another diseased fish that will attempt to wipe out my tank. Luckily I have such a solid set up and that would be next to impossible. read more

Terrie always returns her to us in tip-top shape looks-wise. We really should bring her in more frequently, but, as is normal, she really dislikes being groomed. I know when I bring Shuca in, she is in good hands.

Once your dog enters senior age you are sent packing as they can't be bothered taking their time to do a senior dog. my dog is a senior and they sent her packing and told me to head to Barton Street or go to a vet so they can sediate her which won't be happening as she is a kidney patient. I was told she bit the groomers, I seriously doubt that as she has loved people from 10 weeks old and has never bit anyone trying to do her hair. Once your dogs hair can't be whipped off anymore they can't be bothered . I thought I found an excellent place until now! Take your time to research these dog groomers so you don't land in the same predicament as us. It's sad how this turned turned once the owner is barely around . Run while you can!!!!
