I was baffled when I got her home and noticed the fairly large injury. What's worse is that they also cut her the previous time I had brought her in. That time they owned up to it but attempted to blame it on the dog for moving. It's crazy to me that my dog went to the same groomer for 10 years and was never injured but Muddy Paws managed to cause injury both times she went there. Unbelievable.

It is a two layer coat and requires daily brushing. I brush him 4 or 5 times a week and take him to a professional groomer 4 times a year. I made the mistake of booking a grooming at this clinic in the past and they shaved my dog. Grooming was discussed when he was dropped off and I was promised that there wouldn't be any shaving. When I picked him up, he was half shaven! This is very bad for the health and well being of the breed and causes skin issues and can make them sick! Recently, I went back for annual shots and received attitude from the vet. Apparently, he wasn't groomed to their standards, which apparently includes shaving! While the news says that there is a shortage of Vets nationally, I don't think that torturing my pet is in the cards! Because of this, I will look elsewhere for service! Very sad!

I've been to many dog parks and this one is by far, the BEST! The small dog area is a much smaller…read morearea, but has many obstacles for your dog to attempt to learn new tricks on (teeter totter, ramp, tunnel, hurdles, etc) or just ignore and run after the other dogs, as usual. The large dog area is what gives this park its name, 'Dog Island'. The lake is bordered by many loops of sandy beaches that allows your dog to not only have a large area to roam around and play with other pups, but also allows them to cool off and swim. There are a few picnic tables stationed around the park to allow you to sit and avoid a sandy bottom. Be sure to bring a towel as there is an area to rinse off your dog near the entrance if your dog is naughty like mine and tries to roll around and make "sand angels" after jumping in the water. Good grief! The park isn't just for dogs though. L.E. Ray park also allows for fishing, a small dock for canoes/kayaks and has a small play ground. However, most locals come here for the great Frisby Golf Course!
