Looking in the window at the gorgeous puppies, kittens, bunnies and other balls of fluff you heart can't help melt away as there's sooooo much cuteness - how can you not fall in love? The animals at Pets Paradise are gorgeous - if their animal practices which are not.... What do you think happens when people don't by these small little creatures and they start to get bigger? Where do you think they go.... to the puppy farm up north? Try again.... The animals are put to sleep... they're killed because they weren't sold... not so "Paradise" is it.... More than that - why not google the words "Pets Paradise" and "bad" and you'll see photos of the terrible conditions some of these animals are kept in....suddenly the store will look more like Pets Prison! If you want to love and care for an animal which will really really really appreciate your home go to the RSPCA - don't support business's like Pets Paradise which profit off animal mistreatment! read more

I too believe in rescuing dogs from the RSPCA as opposed to purchasing these poor very, very cute little doggies in the windows. Political correctness aside, my friends and I had a ball with these three maltese cross poodle (moodle) pups the other day at this store. The guy at the counter was so nice he let them out to play a bit, and they had fun terrorising all the equipment and toys in the store. And they have heaps of stuff here too - for whatever pet/breed you've got. I don't have a pet of my own, so it was nice of him to let us play with them a little bit. Sadly however, their time with us was to end and they were returned to their places behind the glass at the front of the store. read more

I bought a puppy from Pets Paradise. It died 24 hours later. My pup was vomitting and purging. We took it to the vet that was recommended by the pet store who gave her the all clear. Seems that even the vet was wrong! I spoke to the manager to said "It was all refundable" like these pups are just toys! I should have know though... the pups were being handled by the staff like toys. They were being passed around to customers in the store, even the ones who were not interested in buying!! they would just open the cages and give the pups to people walking in the store to hold!! The poor pups were trying to sleep!! DO NOT buy pups from pet stores. Pay the extra and go for a registered breeder. PLEASE!!!! read more
