Didn't realize they were still curbside only. We had to bring our little Malshi in because she swallowed a peach pit. We were there for about 4 and 1/2 hours as there were other more serious pet emergencies. Thankfully they were finally able to induce vomiting to extract the peach pit. The vet on duty said the dog would have never been able to pass the pit. We thankfully avoided a very serious and expensive surgery. Just so you all are aware, all stone fruit pits contain cyanide which can kill a dog or child. So if it ever happens to you seek emergency care immediately! Thank you Pets ER and Google for that info!

We could not have been more happy with the care our elderly bulldog received. We were desperate for help. She would not move or eat or drink. After a little more than 24 hours Pippa was discharged. Special thanks to Dr. Schmechel and Mia. We couldn't have asked for better care. Dr. Schmechel is a true asset and a gift to veterinary care in Worcester County. Smart, professional and caring. Do not hesitate if you pet needs ER care. This is the place to go.

This is how they say they are but this person definitely was not!

as soon as we got here the lady came out with the stretcher for our dog and was not the nicest person. we are obviously here because something happened to our dog and to be greeted with someone with no sympathy is not what you expect. we didn't know that you couldn't go in with your pet so when we said we wanted to go in she said no and we asked why and it was nothing but a rude and snippy response. If you can deal with the rudeness or absolutely have to go to this ER then you will figure out that the vet is really nice!

    All better now

We had a GREAT experience here!! I actually paid less for an emergency visit at Pet's ER than I would have paid for a routine at my normal vet. Wait time was a bit long but that's to be expected at an ER. Staff were friendly and communicated well via phone. I hope Vinny does not have to go to an ER again, but I'd pick this one if he ever does!

We pulled up and followed the covid protocols of calling the facility where I told them my pup's issue.

Probably great for preventative services My dog had bloody mucus coming from her rectum and had been vomiting on and off for a few days. I dropped her off and they did blood work, gave her fluids and antiemetic, fecal exam, pancreatic test and X-rays. In total everything was a little less than $900. Wish they had called me when my dog was ready instead of me waiting around and finally asking them if they were done. Luckily nothing was found in the samples, blood work or X-ray and my dog was diagnosed with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis from unknown reason. They gave me an antibiotic and probiotics to take home. I had asked for a whole body X-ray to look at the hips while they were at it. They agreed to but ended up only taking the first half of my dogs body.. 3 stars instead of 5 because my dog was prescribed an antibiotic when there was no bacteria/infection found in the sample. When I called back again to ask why my dog had an antibiotic if she had no bacteria found - they said it was to help with her diarrhea... A common side effect of antibiotics is diarrhea (which would make her dehydration worst) and should be used prudently for gastroenteritis caused by a bacterial infection

I called on 4/28 regarding a sick cat, was given an appointment 3 days away as it was the 1st 'available' appointment, mind you that we have paid for a 'wellness plan' with this facility for over 4 years costing $780.00 / year and have used the bare minimum of visits ( physicals, dental visits and vaccinations only). I was directed to an emergency vet for care. We have a new vet now, and a same day appointment. Banfield, DO BETTER or Get out of pet CARE.
