We brought our 4 month old golden doodle in for his first grooming appointment and were met with nothing but excuses as to why they were "unable to groom" our puppy. I can understand if a dog is difficult to keep still and how a groomer may have some trouble grooming if a dog has too much energy, but the attitude of the gentleman sitting at the front desk was nothing short of condescending and rude. When asked if they had anything to help keep our puppy still or distract him while the groomer worked he responded by saying "this isn't a circus" and continuously questioned where we got our puppy and if he was properly trained. That being said the groomer located downstairs had a much better attitude about the situation but the establishment did little to nothing other than clip his nails, shower him, and return him to us all while making sure to let us know exactly how "annoying" and "loud" the puppy was when they put him in a cage. The gentleman at the front desk himself told us we should look for a different groomer multiple times. Personally I wouldn't recommend this groomer to anyone looking for a specific hair style for their pup or a helpful and caring group of people for their puppies first grooming session because this establishment offered neither. read more

He has the greatest selection of bully sticks near the register (be careful because your dog will want everything!!!). First you call to make your appointment, then they give your a curtesy call the night before to remind you, (mind you they make early appointments which is amazing like 8:30AM) so they say of your appointment you show up , you bring your dog down stairs and leave him and not to many hours later you get a call for pick up. They listened to what we wanted done exactly and we were more then satisfied. The prices are very fair And there location is close enough to home where it's not inconvenient to bring him for his appointments . I completely recommend the groomer! I made an appointment and they were very flexible with time. You have to go down stairs in the store to the grooming section. I explained to the woman (who was the groomer) what I wanted and brought pictures of what I wish would not happen. The boutique called me 2 hours and half later to pick up my puppy and was so surprised to see how amazing my puppy looked. The grooming was okay, but I guess I forgot to mention that I wanted to have my dog's nails also trimmed and the groomer can't read my mind of course. So I left with my dog still skittering across the floor pretty badly so I will still need to get that taken care of later. Also, I felt like treating her to some cookies afterwards and asked the guy behind the counter if they had any that were limited ingredients. He said anything that said "grain free" should be limited ingredients. I was pretty sure that wasn't correct and mentioned that, but he said it was fine. So I bought a box and sure enough, my puppy had diarrhea for the next few days. It went away after I took away the cookies so I knew what the culprit was. read more

(I have a Frenchie and a Yorkie) He also carries lots of doggy apparel which I've only purchased some of because my dogs aren't huge fans. The owner is friendly and professional. This is my first Yelp review ever. Left this store in such a rage. My bf and I went into this boutique to buy a non pull harness and shoes for my bfs teacup poodle. When we asked the person at the store for help he told us the direction of where the harness was. I then asked him if they had any dog shoes in the store. His response was extremely condescending and told us repeatedly that dogs don't wear shoes and that dogs are not human beings. He told us that they have socks with rubber soles for the dogs. Alright call it whatever you want but you knew exactly what I was talking about. We then found a harness but didn't know how to put it on our dog so we asked the guy for help. He also struggled with putting the harness on our dog. Our dog is usually super friendly and embraces everyone. However he did not respond well to the guy trying to put the harness on him. Our dog was VERY uncomfortable. The guy then asked if our dog was trained and said that we should watch some YouTube videos on how to train our dog and use the product properly. SERIOUSLY. Please do not tell us what to do with our dog. Our dog does in fact get trained and we paid good money for him to get trained. We ended up buying two harnesses and a leash so that we can try it on our dog at home where he is more comfortable. And by the way when we were trying to pay for the merchandise he rang up someone else that came after us. Ridiculous. Our dog had one of the harnesses on and while we were leaving we asked the guy what the return policy was because we wanted to return the one of them. He said whenever but that we should take off the harness that our dog is wearing now so that it's not considered used AGAIN in a condescending manner. We both left the store feeling so disrespected that we decided to just return EVERYTHING. It's now been more a week and we still haven't gotten our money back. I don't understand how this could've happened since it was a same day transaction. Will def NOT be returning to this store. read more

He knows his stuff, he's super helpful, and he's really nice. The shop and grooming area are both clean and well-stocked, and if there's something you need that he doesn't have, he'll get it for you.
