I stopped in while walking around town and found the staff very helpful. They have a great selection of all-natural treats, toys, beds, leashes, and collars. I loved the bench outside and the dog treats for the dogs in the front. I'll definitely be back! read more

We brought our 4 month old golden doodle in for his first grooming appointment and were met with nothing but excuses as to why they were "unable to groom" our puppy. I can understand if a dog is difficult to keep still and how a groomer may have some trouble grooming if a dog has too much energy, but the attitude of the gentleman sitting at the front desk was nothing short of condescending and rude. When asked if they had anything to help keep our puppy still or distract him while the groomer worked he responded by saying "this isn't a circus" and continuously questioned where we got our puppy and if he was properly trained. That being said the groomer located downstairs had a much better attitude about the situation but the establishment did little to nothing other than clip his nails, shower him, and return him to us all while making sure to let us know exactly how "annoying" and "loud" the puppy was when they put him in a cage. The gentleman at the front desk himself told us we should look for a different groomer multiple times. Personally I wouldn't recommend this groomer to anyone looking for a specific hair style for their pup or a helpful and caring group of people for their puppies first grooming session because this establishment offered neither. read more

Pets Boutique - No owner of any business should say this to a customer. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Manhasset, New York

Pets Boutique is the BEST dog store on Long Island! Great variety of treats, supplements, food and grooming! My dog, Junior, drags me in there and we have been going there ever since we brought him home 5 years ago. Max, the owner, is kind, knowledgeable and always recommending the best things tailored to your pet. He has the greatest selection of bully sticks near the register (be careful because your dog will want everything!!!). I highly recommend the twisted bully sticks, filet mignon sticks, elk antlers and the self-serve treat bar! Also must mention that there are tons of accessories, toys, and more there. I come all the way from NYC to go here and I've had things shipped to me so easily! read more

Pets Boutique - Junior and Max! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Manhasset, New York

We brought our dog here to get groomed and let me tell you we were extremely happy with the service . First you call to make your appointment, then they give your a curtesy call the night before to remind you, (mind you they make early appointments which is amazing like 8:30AM) so they say of your appointment you show up , you bring your dog down stairs and leave him and not to many hours later you get a call for pick up. They listened to what we wanted done exactly and we were more then satisfied. The prices are very fair And there location is close enough to home where it's not inconvenient to bring him for his appointments . The staff is very friendly even when I called to say we were running a few minutes late they were understanding and gave us a grace period as to not feel rushed . read more

Pets Boutique - My Coco with his new haircut - Pet Groomers Near Me - Manhasset, New York

This store has EVERYTHING! If you like to feed your dogs natural foods, this is the place to go! So many treat and chew options! I was slightly frustrated by the fact almost every item I picked up did not have a price tag on it though. The peanut butter was also expired, so I didn't end up buying it. Good thing I checked I would come back to this store though. The amount of options they have is insane. Foods, treats, clothes, grooming supplies, enrichment activities, toys- everything! read more

Pets Boutique - Pet Groomers Near Me - Manhasset, New York

I completely recommend the groomer! I made an appointment and they were very flexible with time. You have to go down stairs in the store to the grooming section. I explained to the woman (who was the groomer) what I wanted and brought pictures of what I wish would not happen. The boutique called me 2 hours and half later to pick up my puppy and was so surprised to see how amazing my puppy looked. The cut was exactly what I wanted and my the best part was that my puppy smelled like flowers. Couldn't stop hugging her cause she smelled so good! Recommend this place 100% read more

Pets Boutique - Puppy after her haircut - Pet Groomers Near Me - Manhasset, New York

I was pretty nervous bringing my 6 month old French bulldog for his first ever grooming, after talking to max and the groomer I felt that axel was in great hands, and I was right. I could not be happier with how he turned out. They made sure to take precaution to protect his big frenchie ears from the water and he was his normal happy self when I picked him up. If I could give more than five stars I would. Will 10000% be going back. read more

It's simply a wonderful place. Maxwell is charming, knowledgeable and friendly, and you can tell he loves the various animals that come in. There's a huge selection of products of all sorts, and Maxwell is familiar with them all. Veronica (the groomer) and her staff are equally delightful and take perfect care of your pets. Both Veronica and Maxwell do their utmost to accommodate you. We moved out of Manhasset but wouldn't go anywhere else -- and neither would our dog, Chip! read more

I had a wonderful experience here at Pets Boutique in Manhasset, NY. The groomer was just lovely, and so kind and patient with the dogs. Max, the owner, is wonderful and easy to talk to. He was very helpful. I am so very glad we went to this store. I've never seen our dog look better than she did today! I can't say enough! 5 stars!!!! read more

The grooming was okay, but I guess I forgot to mention that I wanted to have my dog's nails also trimmed and the groomer can't read my mind of course. So I left with my dog still skittering across the floor pretty badly so I will still need to get that taken care of later. Also, I felt like treating her to some cookies afterwards and asked the guy behind the counter if they had any that were limited ingredients. He said anything that said "grain free" should be limited ingredients. I was pretty sure that wasn't correct and mentioned that, but he said it was fine. So I bought a box and sure enough, my puppy had diarrhea for the next few days. It went away after I took away the cookies so I knew what the culprit was. read more

I have had a few of my dog training clients use Pet Boutique's Grooming services, all of which had great things to say. I decided to stop by the shop to introduce myself. The staff could not have been nicer. I was also extremely impressed at how many food and treat products they had, along with a great selection of toys, hygiene products and training tools. They were also very knowledgeable about the products sold. High quality products, most of which is made in the USA!! I look forward to recommending my future clients to shop and groom here. -The Gold Coast Dog read more

This is my first Yelp review ever. Left this store in such a rage. My bf and I went into this boutique to buy a non pull harness and shoes for my bfs teacup poodle. When we asked the person at the store for help he told us the direction of where the harness was. I then asked him if they had any dog shoes in the store. His response was extremely condescending and told us repeatedly that dogs don't wear shoes and that dogs are not human beings. He told us that they have socks with rubber soles for the dogs. Alright call it whatever you want but you knew exactly what I was talking about. We then found a harness but didn't know how to put it on our dog so we asked the guy for help. He also struggled with putting the harness on our dog. Our dog is usually super friendly and embraces everyone. However he did not respond well to the guy trying to put the harness on him. Our dog was VERY uncomfortable. The guy then asked if our dog was trained and said that we should watch some YouTube videos on how to train our dog and use the product properly. SERIOUSLY. Please do not tell us what to do with our dog. Our dog does in fact get trained and we paid good money for him to get trained. We ended up buying two harnesses and a leash so that we can try it on our dog at home where he is more comfortable. And by the way when we were trying to pay for the merchandise he rang up someone else that came after us. Ridiculous. Our dog had one of the harnesses on and while we were leaving we asked the guy what the return policy was because we wanted to return the one of them. He said whenever but that we should take off the harness that our dog is wearing now so that it's not considered used AGAIN in a condescending manner. We both left the store feeling so disrespected that we decided to just return EVERYTHING. It's now been more a week and we still haven't gotten our money back. I don't understand how this could've happened since it was a same day transaction. Will def NOT be returning to this store. read more
