After taking the day off work and driving for hours, I was called when I was less than 1.5 hours away and told I was suddenly ineligible. The owner insisted a voicemail had been left (it wasn't), and the dismissive, unapologetic tone made an already heartbreaking situation feel incredibly cruel. Denying an adoption is understandable, but allowing someone to travel hours before communicating concerns shows a shocking lack of compassion and professionalism. I hope this rescue improves its honesty, communication, and respect toward potential adopters.

They also made requirements and said that the fencing that I had that was three layers of wire, wasn't sufficient enough. And then after I got all of the information that they needed to them, even put up new fencing, then they tell me that the dog had just been adopted. When I was giving all of my information, they said they had no other inquiries. No wonder they have dogs there for years, it's because they are flat out rude and make ridiculous requests.
