I was able to call day of and they were able to give me an appointment just a couple hrs later. I really appreciated that they didn't try to upsell me or push anything on me. I had reviewed options on their website so I asked for what I thought was best and they trusted that I knew me best. They have a little area to sit with your pet. They attach a little metal ID tag that stays with your pet, I asked if I could be present when they attached it and they were very accommodating. Overall very respectful staff, I do wish the environment was a little cleaner and maybe brighter? I know we're grieving but it felt dark and dingy and kind of dirty. They have a little soft bed area where you could lay your pet and say final goodbyes but there was fur on the blanket and just gave vibes that many animals had been laid there. I would have really appreciated it if it felt cleaner. Like can we change out the towel with each person? I can't imagine that's asking too much? They did have the best prices that I found when looking online if you want to receive the ashes back. Lollipop had the best price if you were leaning towards a group cremation and not receiving ashes back. Their price includes an ink paw print and they put the ashes in a little wooden box. I would definitely consider them again if I was in need of this service in the future. read more

There are not enough stars to rate this wonderfully compassionate staff! We lost our beloved 18 year old dog, Henry, in November. I phoned Pets at Peace to make cremation arrangements for our dear Henry, and spoke with Cheryl. She was beyond helpful and understanding. At one point I broke down crying and she was so comforting and respectful of our loss.....I can't tell you enough how much her listening to me, meant to me. My husband also received a call from Courtney, and had a similar compassionate conversation with her. Ultimately we met with Tom, who was also so respectful of our loss. After an unexpected passing, Pets At Peace was able to see me the same day I called and were extremely respectful, caring, considerate, and compassionate. I appreciated that they had a private room where we could say final goodbyes in a respectful and serene setting. Within 48 hours I was able to pick up cremains at their Harris site where the employee was so gracious and kind. Cremains were securely packaged in a plastic bag with their tracking coins enclosed within an engraved wooden box. They also scanned her paw print where it's saved electronically and also included in a card. Pets at Peace was able to see me the same day that I called, I got there and the paperwork was quick and to the point. They were very compassionate to my loss and even had a peaceful area where I could mourn by best friend for 11 years. The outside door was locked so there were no disturbances during my grieving period and no pressure from the staff to keep it moving. Its hard to find people who are truly caring of your loss and it really made me feel important. They do have the option to purchase specialty urns but with my limited budget I was only able to afford the normal one but it is still just as beautiful and respectful as I wanted it to be. My daughter just lost her pet cat named spotty after being part of our family for 16 years. To some it may sound silly but spotty was every bit as much important to use as any other member of the family. He was loved beyond words. We searched online for places to help us with his remains and came across pets at peace. Right from the start Susan comforted us and guided us on the steps to compassion. I wish I could give 10 stars. Recently lost a pet and I cannot stress how much these people were compassionate, friendly and supportive. Called them to request cremation and they came to the house to pick up our pet, no charge at all. Gave us the website where we could log in ,check the status, post a picture and some memories. They called us and we went to pick our pet up. Again, very compassionate and understanding and we talked for a bit with Susan and our pet was in a lovely wood box with her remains in an embroidered bag that said Until We Meet at the Rainbow Bridge Also the poem about the bridge and her paw print.
