Probably one of the best menswear stores in Chatham. They have a really good range of mens casual…read morewear. They cater for lots of different tastes. I always have a look in here if I want a new shirt or jeans. The shop is split in to 2 with casual wear on the ground floor and formal wear upstairs. Some really good deals to be had in the sales and if you are quick there is still time.
Esquires
This shop is quite expensive and I never see many people in there…read more how they've survived for so long I have no idea! However they sell a lot of designer mens clothes with labels such as FCUK, Ben Sherman, Tommy Hilfiger etc. The clothes are nice and I guess worth the money, it's cheaper then going up London anyhow. The sales are good and you're sure to find a bargain during that time.

Very expensive shop with a lot of designer items. Often has a lot of sales where prices are reduced…read morequite drastically, but seeing as they were so much in the first place this doesn't matter much! On the plus side although it's not best suited for Chatham, the designer wear is quite cheap compared to other places.

This branch of TK-Maxx has opened only over a year ago in place of the M&S that was there…read morepreviously. The shop is alway very tidy and if I were to serch for a branded item for someone and at a reasonable price I would go there. They have toiltries and toys in the left hand sid eand the fashion wear on the right. The sports and active wear items are right in the front right hence easy to get what you are looking for. The store does have limited choice when it comes to mens wear though . The rows of clothes are well spaced and easy to go through even if you are on a wheelchair.
I'm quite a fan of TK Maxx, but I have to say that I really don't like their Chatham branch. I…read moretravel to Maidstone, Dartford and Lakeside and often buy things there, but am yet to be enamoured by Chatham.
The Locals
A nice convinience store on Admirals walk which stores the usual milk, eggs , newspapers,…read morechocolates, a few plants ectc. the staff are very friendly especially a lady who was kind enough to cash a £20 for the £2 ware I bought. They also sell loads of seasonal plants which are more or less reasonably price. The store is just big enough to walk around with a buggy and often has so many stuff on offers and you can grab a bargain.
New Look
New Look in Chatham is now a huge affair with two floors full of fashion goodness…read more It offers ranges to suit everyone from the youngsters to the men with different departments to suit different bodies. For example the youngsters can go to 915, those from sizes 8-16 or 18 will go for the general wear and those with bigger sizes get another department dedicated purely to them. You can find a whole section dedicated to going out with items such as glitzy tops, dresses, cardigans etc. Then a jumper section with namely a lot of jumpers in it. Cardigans etc. Then a denim section where you will find a wide range of different styles and cuts to suit just about any fussy lady. If you're on the tall side there's a tall section and sleepwear. I have to say they don't offer a petites section which is quite annoying if you're on the small side like moi. Upstairs you will find the 915 section, larger lady section, shoes and a huge range of jewellery with designs to suit all. There are also a large number of bags and hair accessories, all at very decent prices!
This is my favourite newlook store due to the larger inspire range!
