As I drove into the part of the city that I needed, I noticed that gas prices were significantly cheaper than in the greater Toronto area. It was 157.9 when I had left the GTA. Most gas stations were at 148.3. During our late lunch, my friend suggested a number of gas stations to visit. My tank was half full, so topping it off on a road trip was necessary. I found this Husky close to where I was. I had no problem pulling into the station. The gas pumps are older. It was a throwback to a simpler time. You couldn't insert your payment card. You had to prepay for gas by going inside the convenience store. It was kind of nice to deal with a human rather than a modern gas pump. The woman in the store was cheerful and helpful. She asked me how much I wanted to prepay. I went with $30. I asked what happens if I don't use up my entire $30. She said that the difference would automatically go back on my credit card. If it were a prepayment in cash, I'd have to come into the store and get the difference. I learned so much. I rarely prepay for gas. I swiped my Husky rewards card first. I then tapped my credit card to prepay for gas. Done! I thanked the woman and wished her a good day. She reciprocated. I then headed to the pump to fill up. $30 was perfect. I had a full tank of gas. I liked pumping gas at this Husky. I had a chat with a friendly woman in the store. I used an older gas pump. I was a happy customer. I had a great experience. (215)

My husband buys their cigarettes and we enjoy the coffee at the Country Style that is in the convenient store. This coffee excels other coffee brands, I would even have to say Tim Horton's, but you will have to be the judge of that and try it for yourself. The area has such a sense of quiet and calm that you do not experience in Bridgenorth or Peterborough and if you ever want to go for a drive just to think and clear your head, I recommend the drive to the Quarter Mile gas station.
