And they have 4 flavours of ICEE, Blue Raspberry (my favourite), Banana, Cherry and Lemon Lime. I got a small Blue Raspberry ICEE ($1.99) and it was a tiny bit runnier than I like it, but it was still delicious. The slushie is a finer (less coarse) texture than other brands of slushie and it has a stronger effervescence. This is why I love it. However, if you prefer Slush Puppies, they have them too. They have 6 different flavours of those. They also have the F'real milkshakes. They are truly a convenience store drink heaven, lol. They have other convenience store items, but I'm only there for the ICEE baby! Lol. Staff are very nice. Oh they also have a sink near the drinks so you can wash your hands if you accidentally get some slushie on your hands, haha. There's limited free parking in front of the store. (86)

This business is like the no-name equivalent of a 7-Eleven, it is a convenience store with a decent selection at typical convenience store prices. The CIBC ATM is still there and the metal bars on the doors are still there. Notwithstanding the obvious pros & cons of shopping at a convenience store versus shopping at other types of businesses; I found this location to be quite decent. The store is kept very clean and tidy. The staff are courteous. There's parking readily available in front of the store. You've got to manage your expectations here. I for one, have never encountered a convenience store that is so awesome that it gets five stars. Come on, it's a convenience store!!! Unless you have a police report to substantiate, saying the area is rife with crime is incredible unfair. Given the numbers of condos and residential housing in the area, the proximity of multiple Govt of Canada buildings, plus the Tunney's Pasture transit station.... I don't feel this location is dangerous, at least not as of Fall 2019. Go nuts

I had been to Silver City Food Mart months ago and didn't realize they either rebranded or changed ownership. I was poking around UberEats looking for deals and new places to try and saw Red Rock Cafe pop up. They were having a few specials, $11.99 BOGO for sandwiches and spend $10 or more and get a 60g bag of All Dressed Ruffles chips. So I got 2 roast beef sandwiches and claimed my free chips. I ordered for pickup and it wasn't until I pulled up to the place that I realized I had been there before, when it was Silver City Food Mart, lol. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Pick up was quick and efficient. The sandwiches were good, although a bit salty for my tastes. I would have liked a bit more meat too, lol. It came with grilled onions, mushrooms and cheese. You got to choose the sauce between mayo, pesto mayo and mustard. I got mustard. You can have it toasted or pressed in a panini press. I got the latter. I found the sandwich a bit on the small side. I was satisfied paying the BOGO price, but would have found it expensive for regular price. Even with the in-store price of $9.99 ($2 cheaper than the UberEats price). They have Indian food at the cafe too like butter chicken, Biryani and samosas. I look forward to trying those items. On one occasion, I had ordered the Kongu Chicken Biryani ($20.99 BOGO on UberEats) but they were sold out, so I had to cancel my order. It must be popular, lol. I saw they have Chicken 65 too. Chicken 65 is one of my favourite Indian dishes! The convenience store had your usual convenience store items and prices appeared to be on par with other convenience stores. Street parking only. Non-branded flavours like sour strawberry and blue raspberry were fun to choose from, but the texture left much to be desired. All of the flavours I tried were pretty watery with chunks of ice, rather than layering like a good slurpee should. Otherwise, shop was well stocked, my friend got a $2 chocolate éclair (which had frosting filling) but was otherwise passable as a $2 convenience store pastry. Staff were chill. Whole place was clean, honestly way cleaner than I expected. Very fluorescent white atmosphere. Four stars for convenience, but the slurpee alone would get 3 haha.

The owner told me they just took over the store, so there has been a recent change in ownership (as of September 2023). I got some samosas. I asked if they had any baked ones, but unfortunately they only had fried ones. Nonetheless, I got a beef and a chicken ($2.50 each). They were both tasty, but I preferred the chicken. The owner said he also likes the chicken ones more, haha. The chicken samosa has chopped up chicken, peas, onions and spices. The beef samosa has ground beef, peas, onions and spices. I found the beef samosa a bit too salty. The chicken one was perfect. The dough wasn't too thick, but it was a bit greasy. I would have preferred baked ones ;) They also sell Biryani for $20 a container. They also sell pizza. They had a sign on the side of the store that a slice of pizza and a drink was $4.99. I'll need to check this out sometime. The owner said that they will be selling sandwiches soon as well. I feel like this place has a lot of potential. And the owners are so nice. I went to pick up my parcel, with the CP pickup ticket, and they couldn't find my parcel and told me to come back next day, I went back 2 days later and the clerk refused to help saying CP is closed... im like what the hell, I went back the day after and was told my parcel was sent back because I didn't pick it up in time... this is the most ridiculous service I've ever seen... the gave the same hard time to my wife when she tried to pick up a parcel, and again I have to pick up another parcel and I'm dreading going there... Canada Post if you are reading these posts, stop using this location as a drop off please
