The carwash is awesome. Touch-less and except for the back of the van gets the cars clean. I try to use this feature every time I fill up in the winter. There can be huge lines so timing can be important. I never eat or drink at these places. so I cant speak to that. But if you need some chips or a hot coffee this place has got that for you. Lastly, I like the EasyPay system. no fuss no muss. Shell's system works really well, including things like the car wash. Just don't loose the FOB. Now... should we start a complaint around this ethanol as additive? 10% added? this is a sham. At least shell tells you the percentage of each grade of fuel.

I like this Petro location for a couple of reasons…read more First, it's only 1 of 2 Petro Cananda stations in the Oakville area that has the " GLIDE ' car wash system ( cloth or touch less wash ). The top end " Glidelovers ' wash is $13 and not only does a ' super ' job of cleaning - but - if it rains or snows within 48 hours, you can get a re-wash done free of charge. And, for $190, you can get a 3 month unlimited Glide wash pass ( max once a day ) as well. Having used all the car washes at the various competing gas stations, I'd have to say that the Glidelovers ' cloth wash ' is probably the best of the bunch. I have a black vehicle, and during the winter, the Glide system never fails to get all the salt off ( especially from the back ) but it also has a good under body spray to get rid off road salt and brine from underneath your care as well. And the shine on my black vehicle not only seems to look better from a Glide wash, but it seems to last longer as well. The other thing I like is the staff - I have yet to go inside to pay that the guys behind the counter haven't been super friendly and polite - not something that can be said of all Petro stations I've been to. They have a Lotto machine and a huge clean variety shop as well. The only down side is the location. Located at the southwest corner of Burloak and Wyecroft, the only ways to easily leave is eastbound on Wyecroft or Northboaund on Burloak. You can't access or leave the station westtbound on Wyecroft and to access it oe leave via southbound on Burloak isn't a safe bet either. Beyond that, it's a big, bright well staffed Petro with an amazing car wash. Better than most IMO.

In the store, the focus is on cold drinks, auto accessories and thing like hats & gloves - not much snacks or grocery items compared to bigger Shell or Esso. However they do always have Sesame Snaps in stock - sometimes this is the only place within 5 km of my building where I can find Sesame Snaps at night! They also carry cheap, effective old school auto glass products Rain Vision & NeverFog which a lot of big gas stations don't sell anymore. Washroom is very basic but never nasty and it's always open. Note that at last check, Ultramar is not listed as a Top Tier gas seller. I'm not sure if this is due to not meeting the voluntary Top Tier standard for purity & detergency - though more likely not wanting to pay the costs of participating. Either way, just to be on the safe side I wouldn't suggest using Ultramar on a frequent basis if you have BMW, Audi or VW or any recent car with Direct Inection and/or Turbo technology (( though ironically you WOULD come here to get top-off oil for those cars because they sell synthetic Total in a wide range of grades you wouldn't find at most gas stations...)) Also note this station is built on somewhat of a raised mound, the driveways have a steep angle which can make for rough entry/exit for cars with regular or lower round clearance. If you're not driving a SUV or truck, you should take the entrances slowly & diagonally.

I also do notice that the gas that is being offered at this station is quite a few cents cheaper then gas in toronto at all times during the week, not sure if that does anyone some favors BUT there is that. I picked up this time spot from my $67.79 receipt today. The interior of the SUV was poorly cleaned, with little attention to detail. I drove off assuming it had been cleaned properly. Unfortunately, this was not the case. When I reached my destination in Burlington for shopping, I dropped my keys in between the seats. When I bent down to look underneath the seats, I discovered that these had not been cleaned at all. There were bits & pieces of garbage and other items that should have been vacuumed properly. Orange peels, and other debris. I live in Oakville about 20 mins away from Denny's Oakville, so it would be a 40 min run and waiting time for me to come-back to show you. It is a waste of time for me to comeback and forth from home. Disappointed to say the least. They seem to reduce the price in the evenings. So if you're lucky, you may find a decent price there. Used to consistently be lower priced, but now, not so much. I quite often find myself, buying gas, on Kennedy Rd.

It's nice and quiet on the weekends. Sometimes in the evenings, it is not so bad, but that's on a drop by and assess feeling, not if your tank is super low, and you are in an emergency. That being said, since they have expanded the individual gas stations adding more lanes during COVID (just before COVID?), the experience goes fast. There are some restrictions: you need a MasterCard to fill up, or a Canadian debit Interact cards, or Costco Shop Cards (store gift cards). This means for the credit and debit cards, you need to be a member. But if you utilize the store gift cards (Costco Shop Cards), you don't have to have a Costco membership!
