This is one of those little stations that have been around for a million years and are right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. This is super convenient for me, close to home and competitive pricing with the big stations. The lot is a bit wee so once in a while people come in from the opposite side (likely to do with the side their gas tank is on as well) and block your exit. Alas this is not a criticism against the station this is just other driver's staring at you and not quite getting you have nowhere to go. Geeze dude there's a guy right behind me, you've pulled in front of me and I can't go around you...what do you want me to do? So lesson to me, go at odd times of the day when its less busy. Luckily, when visiting the Fallen Timber Meadery someone had mentioned this as a great stop for ice-cream. This is a big store and so you can also get packaged ice-creams if you so choose (and some local gifts like infused olive oils etc from memory) but by the counter there is a freezer of buckets of ice cream! There was probably about eight flavours and I highly recommend the raspberry cheesecake. Big chunks of raspberry and mighty delicious with generous scoops in either a cone or cup. One scoop was $4.50 and two scoops was $6.25 (ish). The sea salt caramel was also super tasty. Highly recommended for dessert after a brunch/lunch at the saloon a few doors down and either pre or post meadery.

I frequent the stores off 130th Ave. S.E. so I go to the Safeway Gas Bar for convenience. The one thing that I dislike about this location, is that when you pay at the pump and are finished filling up the pump tell's you to go get your receipt inside. I had purchased some lottery tickets at his station and ended up dropping a $100 bill on the counter by mistake. I only realized this about an hour later. I retraced my steps and decided to check the gas station just in case, when I arrived Jaskaran was waiting for me with the $100 bill in his hand.
