We took a 5-course menu, each dish served with a glass of alcohol which the restaurant decided for us. The amount for each dish is not big but quite enough after the 5 courses. Nice service and nice food with good decorations. Recommend it! read more

We stopped in here for lunch today. This is a small restaurant and everyone is dining close to the…read moreperson next to him/her. This is a very local restaurant with only people from Lier. I think we were the only English speaking people there. They have an English menu and our waitress spoke English. I chose a wild meats dish from the menu and my wife had the stoofvleef from the menu. Our food came around 15 minutes later and it was hot and looked great. We sampled both dishes and the taste was excellent. The meats were cooked well and you could cut it with a fork. I believe I had lingonberries on top of my dish and that added a tart, fruity taste to the dish. We paired our dishes with a glass of the house white wine. Overall, this was a great lunch that scored five stars in our opinions.
