This place is an architects dream come true. We had the upper flat with the full red designed seethrough bathroom, a fantastic sun roof without curious neighbour glimpses. Great details, full kitchen and a fantastic breakfast, provided by the super nice host. The surroundings are great too, nice little city, close distance to Brussels or Antwerpen (approx 20 Mins by car). We will come again and stay longer!

This review is fifteen years overdue, but the feeling of love, acceptance, and friendhipis still very fresh in my mind. Years ago I was living in Belgium, and needed a quick get-away from my au pair job. I stumbled upon Mabuhay--Eric and Herman--and life was changed for me. This was at a time when there was no such thing as Airbnb or HomeAway. They treated me like a friend--I was spoiled with attention, fresh bread, and freshly squeezed orange juice in the mornings. The rooms were impeccably clean and ultra stylish! But what most struck me--even fifteen years later--was how much the hosts cared about their guests. And how they'd welcome anyone with the same care and concern as they would for a dear friend.

The owners…read more(especially Sophie) are such lovely people that have created a really wonderful place, and my desire to see them succeed snuffs out all my selfish inclinations. We had originally booked ourselves in at their other B&B (Home@Feek), but about a week before our arrival Sophie emailed us to ask us if we'd prefer to switch to their other B&B as she noticed we were coming from Canada and probably would not enjoy struggling with our "American sized luggage" up several flights of stairs to the room we'd booked. So instead we were given a room at Suites@Feek facing only a single flight of stairs. An early sign of the consideration and thoughtfulness that would carry through our entire stay! The location of the B&B is great - I managed to explore most of central Antwerp by foot (in heels!) and it's about a 15minute walk to the Antwerpen-Centraal train station. If exploring by foot isn't your thing there's easy access to taxis (stand is slightly to your right directly across the street) and buses that come every 10 minutes or so. Inside the B&B it's a funky, modern oasis with an inviting common area - with a door that conveniently leads you to their restaurant next door - and very spacious, bright, airy and nicely appointed rooms. I did find that some of the aesthetically beautiful features definitely fell into the "form over function" category of design, but it's a rather small complaint given all the other "Pros." Now for the real "kicker." I have stayed at a few B&B's in my travels and let me tell you...when it comes to the "Breakfast" in B&B...Suites@FEEK blows the competition out of the water. The first morning I literally was dumbfounded by the FEAST that was brought in before us - there were little bowls of yogurt with berry jam, various cured meats & artisan cheeses from a local shop, fresh sliced fruit, smoked salmon w/ arugula salad, and a whole basket of buttery pastries and buns!!! I cannot express how much I enjoyed our time here. All I can say is that everything exceeded my expectations, and our host Sophie definitely went above and beyond in every way. When I eventually make my way back to Antwerp, I know that there is absolutely no other place for me!
