Wish we could give 0 stars. Absolutely rude. Snide comments, being super short with me. Blaming me for his problems. AAA contracts with these people. They need to find a new company! Car was in my driveway. We live off a dirt road that is somewhat steep but moving companies and many other very large trucks have made it up the road just fine. And we don't have reception where I live. It was pouring raining. I came outside and he was here and was half way done changing the tire. When I walk out he looks at me and extremely rudely tells me that he was going to cancel my call because he couldn't get ahold of me. I said did you knock on my door to which he replied exasperated, NO! I asked how he tried to get ahold of me and he said he was honking trying to get my attention. Sooooo, I stead of knocking on my door he chose to sit at the top of the road honking and expecting me to hear it. You could tell he was so irritated that he had to be there in the rain. Well I also stood in the rain with him while he finished and was going to close our gate behind him when he was done so he didn't have to do it. He grabbed 2 or 3 of his tools to walk up to his truck (it was not that far away) and I was standing by the gate and he turned around a yelled at me to STOP! SAYING I STILL NEED TO GET MY JACK! I said yes I know and I was waiting for him to get his stuff so I could close the gate. Jose I think is his name. Absolutely unprofessional and rude. Car needed a flat swapped out while in a pretty narrow shoulder on the 101. Driver was able to reach us through AAA in a reasonable amount of time and got my space saver swapped in so we could get into town for further service. Thanks Pete's Towing. Really delivered when we were in need. read more

Had a flat tire on our trailer on southbound 101 near King City at approximately 1:15 PM. Called AAA and Pete's was the authorized contract service in the area. First text from AAA indicated it would be approximately 40 minutes. After 1-1/2 hours called AAA and was told driver was on his way and would be there in about 5 minutes. 20 minutes later called Pete's Towing and was told driver had been pulled from our call and it would be 45 minutes. A second call about 1/2 hour later and told the same thing. Finally saw the truck go by northbound, called again and was told he was on his way to pickup an impounded car!! Don't understand why that was put ahead of a disabled vehicle needing help. When the driver finally arrived, he did not have the correct size wrench to needed to take the tire off the trailer!! Apparently the one needed was in another truck!! (They know what they are going out to do, so think they would check to see if they have the right tools). He looked in the car he was towing, after stating he wasn't suppose to go into impounded cars, and found what he needed!! So if you breakdown near King City, CA , have patience and don't expect quality service from Pete's Towing!!! read more

we had to use Pete's through AAA to get our car unstuck from where it was. The tow truck driver arrived and we needed him to wait 10 MINUTES for us to finish filling out paperwork with PD. But he REFUSED to stay and wait because he was getting off work soon or something. They didn't send another guy out and we go stranded!! I can't even believe this happend. He then LIED to AAA and we couldn't get another driver out. Then they offered to come back the next day but the thing was, our car was stuck in mud/sand with no hotels, campsites or anything. service= shit read more

At 2:39pm I called AAA needing roadside service. At 5:06pm Juan finally made it. He was not friendly at all. I needed to have the fenders and hood of the car towed along with the car. Juan and I quote said, "I'm only here to tow the car!" He left with my car at 5:32pm and I left soon after. About a quarter of a mile from the shop where the vehicle was towed from I see Juan, parked to the side of the road, talking on the phone. I arrived at my destination at 6:40pm. The tow truck got to the location at 8:07pm. I guarantee you, that I will never use your towing company again and I also let AAA know about the service I received. read more

Well when my 1999 mercury grand marquis started acting up and had giving me hell, I called AAA. This was the towing company that was dispatched to me. I was at my work they're at Fort Hunter Liggett when my troubles began. It took a little while.....and a few miscommunications, but they got there and loaded up my car for the long trip back to Bakersfield. The man responsible to give me and my car a ride returning to my apartment on the north side of Bakersfield was a jovial and pleasant man named Mario. He was a professional also an absolute great guy to know and talk to. He actually made the drive less stressful and put me at ease. My car and myself both made it without any damage. I recommend him for the next haul if that ever does happen again. read more

This place employs thieves, if you get into a considerable car accident and if this Towing company tows your car, go to their tow yard asap before your belongings get ransacked and stolen from it. I had over $500 of specialized electrician tools that, were down right stolen from my car that hurt. As it is my car was totalled in the accident so as if that's not big substantial loss on top of that, anything that was of value was stolen. Don't trust this Towing business, they're the worst, when I asked what happened to my Belongings all they kept repeating was "WE'RE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING MISSING OR BROKEN", what a cop out!!! It took me years to acquire all the tools that they stole from me and over night they were gone. This business is operated by crooks, that have no respect for anyone's belongings!!! read more

Motorcycle tow required a flatbed. Went 136 miles with pleasant conversation, careful driving and respectful of my bike on the bed. Marco was very professional and even gave me a bottle of wine to help me feel better. Waited only 15 mins. Wow! read more

I popped my tire on the freeway just outside of Greenfield and I wasn't sure if the tire could be changed at the spot I was in so I called around for a tow. At first Pete's said it would take an hour to get to me but they called me back in about 20 min and said they found a driver for me and could be there in 10! They worked with my insurance company and changed my tire right there in the dirt in the middle of the freeway! Great customer service and friendly driver, call Pete's first!! read more

If I could this shit place zero stars, I would. My siblings and I were stranded in a small town in the middle of nowhere and all we needed was GAS delivered to us, nothing else, we were only 35 minutes away from soledad but yet we waited over 3 hours! In 110 degree weather. They managed to fix the whole gas pump before they could get their ass 35 minutes to San andro. They didnt get there until an hour after we had left anyways. read more

I never leave bad reviews, but we called AAA for roadside assistance at 1:30 pm at about 1:37 we got a message from Pete's Towing that they were on their way and would be 88 minutes, I thought that seems a bit long but okay they might be busy or there might be traffic. 98 minutes later I asked where the driver was and they said sorry he will be there in 20 minutes. I said okay again it is traffic time on a Friday. The 20 minutes passed and we called and they said oh it will be 30 minutes. Someone came to help out before the service vehicle came, I was furious we waited hours in 100-degree weather. If you're busy or your guys are not on the way then say so instead of saying you are on your way, but we called to let them know we were okay, they told us it would be 45, I just let them go to find out I wasn't there anymore, they didn't show up until 5 pm.
