I am Greek but in winter I get pretty white. I will start at 6 minute in the bed and move to 11 minutes (max time) after 7 times of tanning. By then, I am very dark and have a great base tan for vacations. Val, the owner, is very hands on. She loves what she does and is always happy and friendly. She likes to update the property with new beds, red light therapy, saunas, and mystic tanning. The mystic tanning is great, very even tan, and will last a few days. Val has scents to add to the spray tan. The spray tan never has come off on my sheets or clothes either, but do not get wet for at least 12 hours after. She recently added a new high pressure Alpha bed; cost an extra $11 dollars on top of my existing package but it was worth it! I Highly recommend Tanfastic.

But if 10 other people check in on line and get to the salon AFTER me, they all get to get in the bed before me even though I checknin online also, while I sit and wait for 40min??? The system does not work, is not fair and sucks! If you are physically in the salon first you should be next in line to go in the bed, not just if no other online check in comes in before you get in the bed. This needs to be fixed and ALL employees need to do things the same way across the board.

They advertise two promo-specials they are currently running. When i discussed these with the desk attendant, I was told that the $1 session through Oct 31 was not being offered at their location and the $49 unlimited through 12/31/2024 was also not available( it is $79 at their location!) there since they did not have the bed based on that rate. This was what was provided after I had to provide a drivers license initially, and wait for the attendant having to ready three beds for waiting customers. When she finally returned, she recited the business rules, regulations verbally and required me to digitally sign off on her verbal explanation. There were no forms to read. All this transpired in the deafening hum( it had to be 85db) of the equipment. I decided to opt out at that point.

When my common sense and a need for something better kicked in. So as I'm driving, I google (I know, not good) "Brookfield spray tan" to my delight... 4.5 stars and fantastic reviews on "Maui Tan" so I pull over after driving unaware I drove only 2 miles past it. I walked in, vibe felt good although I felt distant as it wasn't my "use to" place. I asked about spray tanning thinking, getting sprayed in a box by myself completely naked. Nope, they don't do that. Donna the owner informed me she does it and I can have under garments on or off. Donna who has 3 kids and has seen it all. Well, I went commando. She made me feel comfortable and now I am beautifully golden brown, educated and bought a package! This lady is on the ball and actually cares about what is good for you.

After reading the one review on Yelp which was the only review I decided to purchase the Groupon for the tanning salon. Only to find out how cheap the "salon" really was. The first two times I went to the tanning salon I was put in bed #9 which was decent but nothing like other beds I had been in(apparently the best bed they have). The last time I went I was put in bed #5 which was a joke. The bed looked about 10-15 years old. The face tanner was a 3 inch by 3 inch square with a dimly lit light behind the scratched piece of plastic which didn't even warm my face. The bed closed down to an inch above your face, so if you planned on turning to the side your hips would hit the cover (I am not the smallest person but I am not over weight). Then the radio was a car radio insert for the bed which didn't work properly and every beat to every song was vibrated through the bed. Extremely annoying and not in any way relaxing. When I asked to speak with the manager/owner or have his contact information, the receptionist refused to provide me with it. I mentioned to her that I would be writing this review and she "whatever" in a sassy tone. Now I am stuck with this crappy Groupon and I really do not want to step foot into that "salon" ever again!!!

When I first went there, to redeem my Groupon, I got to pick out a bottle of tanning lotion, and the employee told me that the Groupon users get to use their "Plus" beds. They have a 12-minute Stand Up bed and two 15-minute Lay Down beds available. I used the Stand Up. I've been back several times. I've never had to make an appointment. There have always been beds available. If the Stand Up is being used, then I'll use the Lay Down. The staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that the staff seems to be lacking in numbers. FOUR TIMES, in the last month, I've driven there to tan, and they have been unexpectedly closed. They usually put a note on the door that says when they will be open. Today, the note said, "We will be closed until 3:30pm". This was at 1:00pm. This tells me, they must be quite understaffed, if they can't get anyone to cover the tanning salon for a couple hours and must close. It's very inconvenient to the customer! They also have very limited hours. 11am-9pm, Monday-Thursday, 11am-8pm Fridays, and 10am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays. I like the tanning service they provide.. when they're actually open and I get to use the beds.

I got there to find out that 20 years ago I tanned with them in West Bend so could not get the deal. Ok. so I purchase a monthly unlimited for full price and begin tanning right away. I paid to do the 12 minute beds and tanned the whole 12 minutes the first day with hopes to get a little color being that I hadn't tanned in over a month anywhere else. To my dismay there was nothing. So I continued to go daily for about a week and a half and saw no results. People who know me and know I was tanning said i didn't look like I was tanning at all. I had read the reviews prior to tanning there and knew from them reviews that it wasn't worth trying to negotiate with the salon so I cut my losses of approximately $120 and went down the road to Elegant Tan where I got color the very first day that I tanned.
