I called Veteran garage door service And spoke to a live person from their answering service. She took my information and then within just a few minutes their office was calling me to set up an appointment. They gave me a time of when to expect a technician to call. That technician Kevin was texting me and letting me know of his ETA and he was exactly on time. 10:00 am . He showed up in a clean well marked vehicle and he was outstanding. He assessed the situation gave me a very fair estimate, and then was able to provide his expert opinion on some other things that could be changed if I wanted to. I took his expert advice and replaced a lot of old items on my 10-year-old garage door. I've seen a lot of my neighbors garage doors of the same age fail with much more severe consequences than mine. I was very pleased with the entire experience, and the pricing was very fair and well within market. Yes I would refer them to anyone. And ask for Kevin. He is the kind of technician that anyone would be proud to have working for their company.

There were no hidden costs. Neal gave me an honest estimate, and then he and his son came and did the job right, quickly, and when they said they would. And my very heavy old door was a bear to take down, but they didn't charge me extra. They had a lot of variety in the doors you could order, and Christine walked me through all the price differences very patiently, and was very honest about what various features were worth, in my particular case. She was as great to work with as Neal and his son, which I so appreciated. I liked everyone so much I'm actually hiring Neal's son to come back and do some handy-work for me on his own. This is one of the best experiences I've had with contractors, and as I said, I can't recommend All Area Overhead more highly.

When Billy arrived, the door was literally hanging by one cable and the steel had been twisted and bent in several locations, the weatherstripping was ripped off, and the bottom panel was folded backwards...It was a real mess. So much so that we looked at new doors and paint chips for what we knew would be a door removal and replacement. Billy went right to work at putting this double steel door back into service....It was amazing to see him work...helped by his cute little girl. Two hours later the door was up and running...and all the creases and warped areas of the door were repaired....He adjusted it...lubricated it...the job was done. It was total amazement that he was able to save the door...It was like a miracle. Choose Billy and you will be very happy with his service. As a bonus...the price was super reasonable. Imagine our gratitude as we went from what looked like "Humpty-Dumpty" to restored...and all the money we saved too! Call Billy...He's a real nice guy...and if he could fix our door....he can surely fix any possible problems you have with your door.
