Mike's skills are top notch. He also has the nicest custom barber chair I have ever seen! So, come…read moreto Headliners aka "The Fade Stop" for a real cut from a real barber! Appointments are required on the weekend but getting one is no problem.

I really wanted to give this place another shot, but unfortunately it was the same experience as…read morebefore. I walked in and not a single barber acknowledged me no greeting, no "we'll be right with you," nothing. There were about five barbers working, so it wasn't like they were short-staffed. The shop itself also didn't feel well-kept. There was hair all over the floor, and even a noticeable pile of hair stacked up in one area, which just made the whole place feel unclean and unprofessional. I waited around 20 minutes hoping someone would at least say something, but still no verbal contact at all. This isn't my first time trying this shop either I've had similar experiences at this and their other locations, so it seems like a pattern rather than a one-off situation. With so many good barbershops in the area that actually acknowledge their customers and keep a clean environment, it's hard to justify coming back. The lack of basic customer service and consistency here is just confusing.

I recently treated myself to a haircut and straight-razor shave at Imperial Barbershop, and let me…read moretell you--it was the highlight of my week. Walking into this spot felt like stepping into a time-honored tradition meets modern vibe. The atmosphere is spotless and welcoming, with that classic barbershop charm: leather chairs, the hum of clippers, and a playlist that hits just right without overwhelming the senses.

Not from here. Went in and really needed to get just a simple line up of my growing out hair and…read morebeard. I told my barber what I wanted and he asked me before I could say it "do you want straight razor or no"? I said, yes all around. The next thing I heard was clippers starting. ‍ I dint say anything and let him continue. I came to a conclusion that he had not much experience with cutting different types of hair based on how he folded down my ears and cut into the flesh rather than cutting a clean half circle around the ear. The shave begain with warm shaving cream and and an almost face burning towel being placed on me then asked "let me know if it's too hot". I let him continue and was shown my face twice and had to correct him as to where my natural beard line was. Moral of the story is: when you are away from your barbershop and go into an unfamilure shop watch and see who can cut the way you are used to and wait for them, don't just fill a seat. I paid $53 including my tradtional "never go back tip" of 20% because he seemed to need it. Believe it or not the guy told me "I wish we would stay open all the time I gotta get my money". I suggest find the guy with a straight razor on his arm or the former Marine.

I had read the previous reviews of John as a barber and decided to book with him on the website. He gave a great cut, took his time and was polite. Horrible experience!! They need to stop and think about the customer experience. I went it for a…read morepackage hair cut and shave. This is marketed as a spa like package to pamper the man....Nope!! If this does not include a hair wash make that clear when booking. Instead my barber use his spray bottle with ice cold water to wet my hair and but it. You have a sink right there, fill it with warm water. Next you keep spraying the cold water until it is running down my face and saying sorry...why not give me a towel to wipe it instead of letting it drip coldly down my face and down my shirt. Finally on the hair cut did you pay attention to my style or just decide yourself to go a different direction i.e. how many times do I have to tell you how I part my hair?? Then came the shave.....One of the most painful experiences I have ever had. Do we know how to sharpen a straight razor or replace the blades on the electric razor?? I ask for a shave not a hair pull. Honestly it would have been more comfortable to ask you wax my face, because it felt like a back wax. Sharp instruments cut they do not pull the hairs out. Both the electric razon blades need to be replaced and the straight razon needs to be sharpened or replaced regularly. This was a painful dreadful experience.
