I came to a conclusion that he had not much experience with cutting different types of hair based on how he folded down my ears and cut into the flesh rather than cutting a clean half circle around the ear. The shave begain with warm shaving cream and and an almost face burning towel being placed on me then asked "let me know if it's too hot". I let him continue and was shown my face twice and had to correct him as to where my natural beard line was. Moral of the story is: when you are away from your barbershop and go into an unfamilure shop watch and see who can cut the way you are used to and wait for them, don't just fill a seat. I paid $53 including my tradtional "never go back tip" of 20% because he seemed to need it. Believe it or not the guy told me "I wish we would stay open all the time I gotta get my money". I suggest find the guy with a straight razor on his arm or the former Marine.
